One of the hardest things about grooming dogs for many years…

Is watching them grow old.

We see them when they are young, energetic and playful.

And slowly over time —
we witness weaker legs, slower movements, anxiety, shivering, hearing loss, vision decline, changes in skin and coat condition.

Even the “round teddy face” owners once loved may slowly change.

Sometimes, what changed is not the groom.

It is age.

This is why at June’s Pet House, we ask for your dog’s age, birthday and health issues.

Because different life stages require different SOPs.

Senior dogs are handled differently.

More patience. More breaks. More adjustments.

We work around the dog — not the other way round.

Growing old is not a problem.

It simply means they stayed long enough to grow old with us. ❤️
