Our shelter rehomes dogs that are now in the care of Whangarei District Council. Whangarei Animal Management is open Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm.

The shelter is located between John Deer tractors and alternatives, approx. 300 meters from Whangarei SPCA. Before you adopt your fur friend;

- adoption application is completed including associated fees. All dogs available for adoption will have passed an assessment for temperament and will be registered, microchipped, vaccinated and may already be de-sexed.
