My amazing team — Amber, Michelle, Kayley, and Lynne — are here every day loving, caring for, and spoiling your dogs just as much as I do. While I'm spending a little more time behind the scenes these days, rest assured I'm still very much around, and I've got a team I trust completely looking after your precious pooches.

The best part? We have a space for everyone.

🏡 **The Penthouse** – our cosy indoor rooms for dogs who love their creature comforts.

🌿 **The Courtyard** – kennels with attached outdoor runs for dogs who enjoy a little extra space and fresh air.

But no matter where your dog stays, they're still part of the Shilo's Oasis family. ❤️ Different spaces, same routine, same love, same care. Every dog follows the same daily routine, receives the same level of care and attention, and enjoys plenty of interaction with our team. Our goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home.

**KEIRA!** 🐕❤️

It's always so hard to choose just one, but this week Keira takes the crown! 👑

Around here, she's earned the nickname **"Mummy Dog"** because she naturally takes the younger dogs and new arrivals under her wing. She helps them learn appropriate boundaries, guides them through pack life, and shows them how to interact politely with other dogs.

Keira has a beautiful ability to regulate the energy around her, helping nervous dogs build confidence and energetic dogs learn when it's time to settle. She's the kind of dog that makes life easier for everyone around her and plays a huge role in helping new dogs find their feet in the pack.

An all-round good girl and a valued member of the Shilo's Oasis family. ❤️✨️

Love getting a sneaky photo like this from the team ♥️😅
Tama being the best boy, enjoying some afternoon enrichment. Activities like this help dogs learn how to regulate their emotions, use their brains, and burn off mental and physical energy in a healthy way. It's not always about running around like maniacs 😅 Sometimes learning how to relax, switch off, and enjoy some quiet time is just as important.

Tama is up for adoption through Bay of Islands Animal Rescue - Never Ending Story

We had a very last-minute boarder join the pack this week 🐾

One thing we absolutely love about what we do is caring for people’s fur babies — and being able to help out Bay of Islands Animal Rescue - Never Ending Story and their foster families whenever we can makes it even more special.

This handsome boy is Mr Tama ❤️
Tama has come to stay with us for a few days while his Foster Dad recovers after being rushed to hospital, and his Foster Mum navigates a sudden change in routine, we were more than happy to step in and give this handsome boy a safe, comfy place to stay.

Safe to say he’s already made himself right at home 😂

A big shoutout as always to the amazing people at Bay of Islands Animal Rescue and all the foster families out there doing incredible work behind the scenes for animals in need. You guys are absolute legends 👏🐶
