With multiple large play areas, its central location, awesome parking and its beautiful spa which offers nails trimming, glad treatment, bathings and full grooms!

- Welcome to newcomers Mabel, Maisy, Terra and Otis!! They all did very well
- Champ returned after a while away and did very well!! Big zoomies and playtime was had
- Connie tried to eat a staff members shoe and quickly resorted to cuteness to defend her actions
- Phoebe and Shadow enjoyed each other's company as older but still playful ladies
- Sylvie demonstrated her gorgeous smile

Another cozy week inside, staying warm and playing no matter the weather. Tug o war was very popular this week, as was fetch, and as always lunch time was a massive hit.

Part-time Daycare Attendant

Wellington CBD-based, diverse and inclusive workplace looking for reliable dog lovers to join our daycare and reception team!

This position will be approximately 15 hours, with the possibility of additional shifts and hours as needed.

The role involves both customer-facing and dog care duties so previous animal and/or human first aid experience is preferred but not required.

Applicants must:

Be able to work any shifts Monday-Friday.
Be able to commit to working with us long-term.
Be able to cover a shift at short notice.
Be physically fit.
Be reliable and responsible with a great work ethic.
Be able to work in loud environments (hearing protection is provided)
Have confidence and passion for dogs of all sizes.
Have previous experience in dog care/animal handling or a strong desire to learn.
Have great customer service skills.
Have excellent communication skills.

Finer details:
Working with dogs is tough work, but equally rewarding. We expect professionalism, but also a good sense of humor and a keen attitude when the going gets tough. Being able to read and respect each dog and learn what's important to them is vital to the first step in the dog's connecting and bonding with you.

Our hours of operation are 7am-6:30pm Monday to Friday. The daycare is closed on public holidays and weekends.

- Zeno tried flying with his ears as wings
- Luna practiced her double high five
- Archie did his best puppy dog eyes

- This week we welcomed sweet old girl Nala, as well as cute little Luffy
- Tyche enjoyed her bath time scritches
- Dougal tried out the little dog bed
- Zelda and Red opted for sitting inside a bed rather than on it
- We discovered classical music helps the dogs quiet down for nap time 💤

Snaps of the week for 9/5/25

This week we welcomed Little Mate to the crew! He's settled in very well and got the seal of approval from the big dogs squad.

Plenty of playing was done! Rum takes the award for best dance moves, and Sadie practices her climbing skills on Ranger. Otto does his best to catch a ball.

As usual naps were high on the priority list, and Zeno managed to snuggle up to Dougal on a comically small bed despite there being another bed just meters away. Red stole bedding from on top of a crate and rolled himself up in it.

- Warm welcome for newbie Ranger, who quickly got adopted by Delta
- Benson and Rue were attached at the hip whenever possible
- Murphy and Benji chewed on toys together
- The tug o war battles continued

- We welcomed Arlo with a blanket ceremony
- Many bed-sharing cuddles were had
- Lots of fetch and tug o war, including silly actions shots
- Rory practiced his dance moves
