Important notice to all.
It’s that time of year again when I want to say Happy Holidays! Thank to my wonderful clients who have booked appointments ahead, turned up on time, let me know well ahead of time if you needed to alter or cancel an appointment and have rebooked appointments when you picked up your dog. Your respect for me is much appreciated and your adherence to my requests makes for well groomed dogs, a happy dog groomer and happy owners.
Unfortunately, there have been some clients who do not prioritise their appointments and this has caused me unnecessary stress this year. When your dogs are with me they are my priority, they are well cared for and skillfully groomed and, as a result of word of mouth advertising, I have a long list of dog owners waiting to be a client. To ensure you remain a Wellington Dog Groomers client, please remember the following:
- Please turn up for your booked appointment. Any client who misses an appointment without an emergency reason will not be rebooked in the future.
- Please arrive at the studio at your booked time. We are not a day care so I cannot accommodate dogs any earlier than 15 minutes before the groom time. Being late inconveniences myself and other clients, so if you are 10 minutes late to the appointment you will be charged a $10 late fee but your appointment will go ahead. If you are 15+ minutes late you will be charged a $20 late fee and I will be unable to groom your dog that day. You can rebook an appointment but if you are more than 10 minutes late again, you will not be rebooked in the future.
- Please pick up your dog at the agreed time as I do not have room to hold your dog after their groom and/or I may need to go somewhere myself.
- Please book your next appointment when you pick up your dog and ensure you have the appointment noted. You can book the whole year ahead if you wish so you can organise grooms around your holidays or work. Booking through the page will ensure you receive a reminder the day before.
- Please contact me at least the day before your appointment if you need to change or cancel your appointment. If I have notice, I am able to fill the gap with another client which helps others and means I do not miss out on my fee.
- If you have not arranged an appointment in advance, please do not contact me hoping for a last minute slot, especially in November and December.
- If you are not able to comply with my requests, unfortunately I will ask you to take your dog elsewhere for its grooms.
