This was Luna's very first groom ever and she had it here with us at Spitz n Shine. We concentrated on making her feel safe and special and ensuring it was a loving and positive first experience for her. She started out trembling but at the end was much calmer and relaxed. See you again soon little Luna :0)

Murphy had a wash, dry, clip with a number 4 blade and scissor cut plus nail clip. Mum wanted to keep his chest hair long. Doesn't he look lovley! See you again soon Murphy :0)

We love being the ones to give a dog its very first groom. We realise how important it is to build rapport and make sure we give them lots of gentle reassurance so they feel safe and begin to form trust in us.

Once we start to achieve this the dog feels less vulnerable and defensive and starts to co-operate more. This ends in everyone involved have a positive, lovely experience :0)
