Always spot check the dog!

Hem came in and was ‘at’ his paw. It looked red so I thought stinging nettle and put eezapet on.

Next day was still ‘at’ his paw so gave a proper check over and ‘oh no’ not stinging nettle but a chunk missing from his paw pad.

Poor buddy - has done this a few times now being a foxie cross he’s into all sorts of mischief!

Happy to say it’s healing nicely, rested him as much as you can with a foxie and applied Eezapet morning and night, and before any further walking.

Government failing again with no concern for companion animals - isn’t it in the word .. ‘companion’ yet we fail them

IMPORTANT UPDATE! 📣 The Government have yet again delayed improvements for animal welfare - and we need your help to speak up.

The Government has rejected the recommendations in a report on the recent petition on dog shock collars, and has said the issue should be addressed through the Code of Welfare for Dogs.

The glaring issue? The Code is woefully outdated. In 2023, SPCA and six other national organisations worked together to draft an updated Code of Welfare for Dogs. But last year the Government directed a pause on all work related to companion animal codes, putting these critical welfare updates on hold.

Referring this issue to an outdated Code, while at the same time preventing that Code from being updated, is contradictory and deeply concerning. We’re calling on the Government to prioritise work on the companion animal codes of welfare. With your support, we can push for the changes animals deserve.

Eezapet was launched into the market in 2014 after Heather's first dog Coco, was allergic to a number of things – beef, wheat, eggs, grass seeds, wandering dew, onion w**d, fleas and flea dust to name a few. In her first year she had 4 steroid treatments that were not working. Trying to apply vet lotions did not work as she would hide when the tube came out. Took this boy to the vet for an overall health check up as he hasn’t been for a few years. He had been tripping on the stairs, following me around more, and wanted to rule out any pain points as we know dogs act differently with pain.

Must say the vet was so happy to see a nearly nine year old healthy dog, kept saying he’s in great condition, his coat is so healthy, his teeth are perfect and his muscle mass is exceptional. No stiffness or areas of issue so that was good to rule out.

The results are from his diet being the best for optimum nutrition.
