Happy Father’s Day!

Today we’re celebrating the wonderful dads who give so much to Chance 4 Change - especially our very own Dylan, and all of our amazing foster dads who open their homes to dogs in need.

Thank you for the countless walks, cuddles, training sessions and everything else you do to help our dogs feel safe, loved and ready for their forever homes.

We’re so grateful for the time, patience and care you give to our dogs and our rescue.

Happy Father’s Day to Dylan, our foster dads, and all the other amazing dads out there!

Blossom is a gorgeous, 13 week old, female, Heading Dog X.

Good with dogs: Yes.
Good with cats: Unknown.
Good with children: Yes.
Alone time: Short periods while young.

Blossom’s foster writes:

Blossom is an active and curious little pup. She loves adventures, exploring, and seeking out new smells and experiences. She loves a good game of tug of war or chasing a sock - or even the ear of her puppy sister! After playtime, she equally loves a cuddle and is starting to develop some good recall.

Blossom is confidently curious. She loves it when people come to visit the house and is always keen to follow someone around. She plays well with her foster big brother and sister dogs and responds well when they tell her to quiet down.

Blossom is progressing well with toilet training. Like all young puppies, she will need continued guidance with chewing household items and mouthing.

Blossom has a medium energy level and would benefit from a forever home where someone is around often. She will do well in a home with other dogs and will require lots of stimulation. She is super curious, loves adventures, and will thrive with a family who can continue to encourage her confidence and inquisitive nature.

If you're interested in adopting Blossom and own your own home, or have lived in your rental property for two or more years with documented landlord approval to keep a dog, please complete our adoption application form: https://airtable.com/apptS9QFkdVrQm2su/shrXmMrksf6Ci8dYQ

A $500 adoption fee applies to help cover the costs of Blossom's vaccinations, microchipping, desexing, parasite treatment, and council registration.

Frank is a handsome, 10 week old, male, Staffy x.

Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Yes
Good with children: Yes
Alone time: Short periods while young

Frank's foster writes:

Frank is our little troublemaker with a big personality, always ready for his next adventure! Whether he’s chasing his litter mates, pouncing on a toy, playing soccer or investigating the toys, Frank approaches everything with enthusiasm.

He is fostered in a busy family home with children, a cat and his two litter mates, so he’s getting lots of experience around people, animals and everyday family life.

Frank loves outdoor adventures, with plenty of space to run, play and explore, and he has even decided the garden needed a little puppy landscaping!

Frank has also discovered his bark and isn’t afraid to let you know when he has something to say. He is a fun-loving and adventurous puppy growing in confidence every day. He loves family activities, playing, and exploring new experiences.

Frank is crate trained, and is doing well with leash training and toilet training. He is learning the basics of obedience, and like any young puppies, is still learning what is appropriate to chew and working on his nipping and mouthing.

An ideal home would provide plenty of opportunities for play, exercise, exploration and socialisation. Frank would love a family who enjoys getting involved with him and giving him positive experiences. Having been raised around children, a cat and other dogs, a home with children or friendly pets could suit him well.

If you're interested in adopting Frank and own your own home, or have lived in your rental property for two or more years with documented landlord approval to keep a dog, please complete our adoption application form:
https://airtable.com/apptS9QFkdVrQm2su/shrXmMrksf6Ci8dYQ

A $500 adoption fee applies to help cover the costs of Franks’s vaccinations, microchipping, desexing, parasite treatment, and council registration.

Jimmy is a handsome, 11 week old, male, Staffy X.

Good with dogs: Yes.
Good with cats: Unknown.
Good with children: Yes.
Alone time: Short periods while young.

Jimmy's foster writes:

While Jimmy enjoys being around people, he also has an independent side and is comfortable settling himself, making him slightly more adaptable to alone time as he matures. Jimmy can now sit on command and is progressing well with his trainings.

He would benefit from someone being home with him initially while he settles in and continues his training. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has loved spending time with both his sibling and an older dog in foster care.

Jimmy is looking for a home that will provide love, guidance, and ongoing training. In return, you'll gain a loyal, confident, and affectionate companion who is ready to become a cherished member of the family.

If you're ready to welcome a clever, cuddly little adventurer into your life, Jimmy is waiting to meet you.

If you're interested in adopting Jimmy and own your own home, or have lived in your rental property for two or more years with documented landlord approval to keep a dog, please complete our adoption application form: https://airtable.com/apptS9QFkdVrQm2su/shrXmMrksf6Ci8dYQ

A $500 adoption fee applies to help cover the costs of Jimmy's vaccinations, microchipping, desexing, parasite treatment, and council registration.

Pepi is a gorgeous, 10 week old, female, Staffy x.

Good with dogs: Yes.
Good with cats: Unknown.
Good with children: Yes.
Alone time: Short periods while young.

Pepi's foster writes:

Pepi is a smart girl with a big personality. She is very confident and loves to explore and play love. She loves all toys but has a soft spot for ropes, toys that make crinkly noises or a soft toy she can snuggle with at bed time.

She has discovered she loves car rides, and chase is a new favourite game!

Pepi is happy to have company and someone to play with, and is also good at being left alone and entertaining herself.

She has done well when being introduced to cats of all ages, and has been delighted when introduced to other dogs. She is confident to go for a hello sniff, and will happily initiate play. She can experience some shyness and will seek reassurance from her people, but her confidence is growing daily.

She loves all people, and has displayed gentleness with smaller humans.

She is crate trained and progressing well with toilet training. Like all young puppies, she is still working on her mouthing and nipping. She has learnt basic commands and is very food motivated, making learning new things a breeze!

Pepi is a medium energy dog who loves all people and animals. She will do well in a home where she will be encouraged to keep learning, have the opportunity for plenty of play and company. She will do well in a household with another pet for company and interaction, or a home that will keep her entertained and fulfilled.

If you're interested in adopting Pepi and own your own home, or have lived in your rental property for two or more years with documented landlord approval to keep a dog, please complete our adoption application form:
https://airtable.com/apptS9QFkdVrQm2su/shrXmMrksf6Ci8dYQ

A $500 adoption fee applies to help cover the costs of Pepi's vaccinations, microchipping, desexing, parasite treatment, and council registration.

A huge THANK YOU to three wonderful Year 10 students from Scots College!

As part of their community project, they chose to support Chance 4 Change by collecting much-needed pet supplies, including food, toys and bedding for the dogs in our care.

We’re incredibly grateful for their hard work and generosity. It’s so great to see young people getting involved and making a difference for animals in need.

Thank you for choosing to support C4C!
