Geeperz! Things are getting lower than low and times are getting tuff for us all😩

Rescues everywhere are finding things hard and we all need a helping hand.

Can you help??

Ive been donated some amazing dry bikkies recently but my rescue kitties all get wet food every day, some 3 meals per day.

So Im in need of funds for wet food and to help pay vet bills still ($7500).

If your able to sponsor a kitty or can donate, I really really need funds urgently.

Im so happy for this wee man who is a special kitten from The Laundry Group.

Im also very emotional about this one because this story is bitter sweet.

This amazing couple came for a visit last year and fell in love a caramel ginger smoocher i called Amel. He was 1 of 7 kittens that came in together from The Laundry Group and all were sick with cat flu, closed n swollen eyes, snotty noses etc.

It took many vet visits, steam therapy 3x a day, meds and lots of round the clock care but they all made it. They all got healthy and as ready as they could be to find homes of their own & Amel found his purfect home where he had another cat and a doggie family too.

He was super happy.

But a couple of weeks ago Amel became unwell. He was taken to the vet but declined very quickly and it was discovered that he was in end stage kidney failure at not even 2 years old😭. He was given his angel wings and left this world surrounded by the love of his family.

When we spoke again it was mentioned that I still had siblings here including Amels twin brother Soaps. And immediately they decided that in the loss of Amel they had enough love to look at giving his twin brother a home too.

This was the most selfless action.
To grieve for Amel but realise you have so much love to give and then take on another kitty and give them a beautiful family.

Im so thankful for this beautiful couple.

Soaps will be living an amazing life showered with love and other furry friends to keep him company.

In loving memory of his brother Amel, named Eddie once adopted. Here are some photos of his happy times. May you forever be in our memories 🤗💛🐈

Frankie is looking a little brighter this morning, i am giving him steam baths every 3 hours to help clesr his sinus and hes on antibiotics & anti-inflamatories.

So, 48 hours should have him feeling much better and clearer.

Frankie & I are at Emergency Vet in Ngauranga as he has an infection coming on.

Frankie was found in a wood pile in Kaiwharawhara when he was around 10 days old.

Probably born to a feral mum or dumped we will never know but due to injesting dust he developed Rhinitis and is prone to sinus blockages & infections.

Hes kept pretty well with being on an antihystamine but every once in a while he will have a flare up and its tonight.

So, we have come to see the vet and probably be given a course of antibiotics.

Frankie is a calm, quiet, gentle boy. Hes 4 years old now and I guess no one wants to adopt him because he sneezes a bit??

I think hes one if the most beautiful cats ive ever seen. Hes so loving and cuddly.

Tonights consult was $180 plus $78.84 for the Doxy medicine.
