Thompson Performance Horses presents:

Tennessee Waltz (Bradley)
• 16-year-old gelding
• Sire: Centavos
• Dam: Meigh Diamonds (Strike Diamonds)

Bradley is a talented and experienced jumper who has confidently competed up to 1.30m, delivering results over the years with a range of junior and amateur riders.

A genuine all-rounder, Bradley has also enjoyed plenty of beach, forest, and farm riding, making him versatile, fun, and reliable in a variety of environments.

This lovely horse is best suited to a confident and capable rider, as he can be sharp!! and is not suitable for beginners!! Bradley would be ideal for someone looking to gain experience, develop their ride, and progress through the grades with a competitive and knowledgeable partner.

Bradley is currently in full work and recently competed at Woodhill, where he jumped the 95cm and 1m classes, placing 1st and 2nd with an amateur rider. He is fit, forward, and ready to go.

🌟 We’re Hiring! Full-Time Position Available 🌟

Thompson Performance Horses, a breaking-in, training, and showjumping stable, is looking for a dedicated rider to join our team!

We’re seeking a reliable, motivated, full-time team member who can ride and school horses both on the flat and over fences. The ideal candidate will have experience breaking in young horses particularly thoroughbreds, colts, and stallions but if you don’t have all of this experience, confidence, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are just as important.

What we’re looking for:
🐴 Confident in handling and starting young horses
🐴 Ability to ride and school horses on the flat and jumping
🐴 Experience with thoroughbreds (preferred but not essential)
🐴 Comfortable working with colts and stallions
🐴 Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn
🐴 Full-time availability
🏡 Live-in position available

Chilly is good to have around in every way. Easy traveller he trucks and floats. Happy to ride out alone or in company. He is a well schooled schoolmaster type with flying changes established and big uphill canter. He has evented upto 105 with previous riders. In the time we’ve had him we have just done a bit of show jumping upto 1m and the odd cross country school. Loves the beach / forest happy to lead or follow. Chilly is safe schoolmaster type however does require a confident rider to get the best out of him

It was definitely a thrill to hear that both Khando and Zerre won their races at Te Aroha yesterday! 🎉🐎

Both fillies were with us for the second time for a couple of weeks, doing varied work one week out from racing and it’s great to see this approach proving beneficial!

We’re excited to continue working with these lovely fillies and would like to congratulate and thank Ballymore Racing NZ and all connections for allowing us to be part of their success. 🥂✨
