Working student Catia had a great lesson yesterday on her new horse at the OEC!
Steve was sent to us to be sold on behalf, but Catia was on the lookout for a new partner and with the help of her very supportive parents snapped him up. She’s thrilled to get him going over the winter and is looking forward to the upcoming season together!

Baxter the Breaker Steps Out for His First Outing at the OEC!

Baxter is a 6-year-old gelding by Donnervinci out of AllNZ Material Girl (Carpaccio Holst).

He arrived with us just over six weeks ago to be started under saddle, and he’s been an absolute pleasure every step of the way. A quality young horse with a kind, willing nature, Baxter has taken everything in stride. This video is a testament to his attitude and natural ability—with only around five weeks of ridden work under his belt.

Attention Riders
🌧️🐴 Training Day Update 🐴🌧️

Due to the amount of rain we’ve had over the past few days, we’ve decided to start our training day a little later to give the arena time to dry out tomorrow morning.

We’ll be running the day in 1-hour time slots ⏱️, and to avoid parking in the paddock, you’ll be able to park along the driveway 🚗.

If you’re keen to come out for a jump, please PM us with your preferred time slot 💬. Numbers will be limited per slot. My team and I will be on the ground and are happy to adjust jump heights as needed 🛠️🏇.

This way, we can still run our training day and make sure everyone has a fun and enjoyable experience 🎉.

Time slots available:
• 11:00 AM 🕚
• 12:00 PM 🕛
• 1:00 PM 🕐
• 2:00 PM 🕑
• 3:00 PM 🕒
