Earlier this month our small animal team took some time away from the consult and surgery room to focus on upskilling with ECG training. 🩺🐾

Continuous learning is an important part of providing the best possible care for our patients. During today's session, our team refreshed their knowledge of ECG placement, recording techniques, and interpretation to help identify heart rhythm abnormalities with greater confidence.

Regular training like this keeps our skills current and ensures we're ready to provide accurate diagnostics and high-quality care when your pets need it most.

Soon we give a heartfelt goodbye to one of our incredible vet nurses as she finishes her journey with our Small Animal team after 12 wonderful years.

Over the past decade, she has been so much more than a colleague, she has been a friendly face for our clients, a calm and compassionate advocate for our patients, and a valued member of our team. Her dedication to providing the very best care has never wavered, and her attention to detail and perfectionist nature have set an exceptionally high standard for all of us.

While we're sad to see her go, we're excited to see what the future holds for her. We wish her every success and happiness in her next adventure. Thank you for 12 amazing years. You will be greatly missed by all of us.

Originally from New Zealand, she spent over 20 years living and working in the UK before returning home. She enjoys being back in her home country and is excited to meet all of our wonderful patients and their families.
Her passion lies in caring for senior pets, with a special soft spot for cats and terriers. Helping older pets stay comfortable, healthy, and happy is one of the most rewarding parts of her job.
When she's not at the clinic, you'll usually find her embracing her love of all things vintage. Whether she's enjoying a coffee, browsing antique shops, or heading to classic car shows, she's always on the lookout for beautiful treasures from the 1950s and 60s—and hopes to own a classic car of her own one day! 🚗☕🛍️
