Last week we had to say goodbye to a very special member of our team 🤎

Dr Vicki had to put her beloved Doug to sleep — saying goodbye to a best friend who brought endless love and comfort. Doug (aka Dr Doug to us) was a big part of the clinic for the last 6 years, helping with cleanup of uneaten meals, teaching vet students, and most importantly, helping nervous dogs feel safer.

We would love to share a poem Dr Vicki wrote for her precious boy, reflecting on his life and the love they shared — you can find it in the comments 🐾

This is Cheese, the dog who knows the vet clinic is a 5-star treat buffet! Every time he walks through the door, his tail becomes a high-speed windmill, knowing exactly who's got the snack stash - and it's always the nurses at reception.

Found Cat – Kingsland Area 🐱

This lovely cat has been spotted hanging around a house on Mostyn Street in the Kingsland area for the last week. Unfortunately they have no collar or microchip 😿

Toby is officially applying for the role of your newest feline friend! 🐱

His credentials are; super friendly receptionist, highly motivated (by cuddles & chin scratches), excellent customer service skills, and lightning-fast typing—up to 1,000 words per minute! He also specializes in lap-warming and takes his job very seriously.

In addition, he is:
- Microchipped.
- Desexed.
- Approximately 10 years old (though he’s really just 10 months old at heart), he’s the perfect mix of experience and youthful energy.

Whilst Toby isn’t a nurse quite yet, he is very qualified to make you feel better 😊❤️
