We were chosen as Pet.kiwi's rescue of the month in July and we are so incredibly grateful to those of you who went and donated in their store. Would you check out all those goodies for our kids!! ❤❤❤

Pet Kiwi are a small independent pet store located in Auckland and they have ALWAYS been super supportive of rescues and doing what they can to help the many rescues they work with in the best way they can. Our amazing Rescue of the Month for August is Gutter Kitties! 🐱

Gutter Kitties is an Auckland based rescue that prides themselves on being a no-kill shelter that dedicate their time and efforts to rescuing timid, anxious and/or undersocialised cats.

This is one of the current cats under their care, Pirate 🏴‍☠️
Pirate is a sassy girl who loves to give you a smooch.
She isn't too keen on other cats and would do best as the sole queen of the castle 🏰

Auckland Cavy Care are so close to their goal!
Can you help out? Every little bit helps 🥳

As we get closer to the end of our chance to double donations we are looking at all sorts of ways to get to the 10k max out.

The week we were donated a lovely indoor hutch to put up on trademe and the funds earned will nudge a little bit closer.

It is homemade, and is 164cm x 95cm, so at 1.5 sq. meters it is a fantastic size for up to 4 guinea pigs.

Meet Paxton 💛 Paxton is one of the poundie pups that are currently in the care of our Rescue of the Month, Pound Hounds Rescue NZ, and is ready to find a forever home of his own!

He’s confident, cuddly, crate & house trained, great with other dogs, cats, and kids, and has the perfect mix of playful energy and calm affection. He’d love a home with someone around during the day and maybe even a doggy sibling to learn from 🐾
