Not often I get asked to not trim this kind of coat! The owner wants to keep this look and does such a great job with brushing daily that this is possible! He got a wash, blow dry and tidy up around the paws, eyes , chin, and the nails trimmed 🐶

May not look amazing but to raise awareness!
These older dogs need their grooms to be as comfortable as possible , underneath all this hair there is matting around legs and under armpits which means every step will hurt the dogs skin, matting around the bum so you can imagine the discomfort when there is poo stuck to the hair All The Time , this dog looked so much more happy when going home after getting groomed 🐶

Mylo 💙 some people may not agree with this groom but it’s important to understand why! Mylo suffered with skin irritations and when he had his Bernese coat it was very hard to keep on top of the skin issues and keep them clean! They were always shaved around the lesions anyways so he was left with bald patches a lot of the time, this way they can be seen in the first day they appear and are prevented from getting worse and infected ! I groom for the welfare of the dog not the breed!
