The Good Life Boarding Kennels We are a family run boarding kennels and can cater for up to 8 clients at any given time. Your pet's welfare is our primary concern!

We only board dogs with a vet vaccination cert and up to date vaccines, namely kennel cough and 7 in 1 booster. Ensuring that they are comfortable, well exercised, have a good diet and are safe and secure during their stay with us is of the utmost importance to us. We actively encourage people to view the kennels and meet us prior to boarding dogs with us. We would be happy to show you around, answer any questions and address any concerns.

Good afternoon folks, Fíachra here hope you n your furbabies are all keeping well n enjoying the beautiful weather as summer '26 kicks in .

This year I'm only open from July 3rd -> Aug 6th coz of exams, holidays and road trips on my new motorbike !

If these dates suit your plans then please drop me a text @ 0868269377
with the following info:

Your name ...
dog(s) name ..
drop off date ..
collecting date

Fees are 20€ per day
Additional dogs from same house sharing a kennel are +5€ per day
All dogs walked using 10m leads, walked twice daily, morning n evening
Please supply a harness thats a snug fit for your dog and is fit for purpose.
I supply food but if u wish to bring what your dog is used to eating at home then thats fine also.

The old man will be making the odd guest appearance n giving me a hand if his PTSD doesn't flare up 😁

Firstly, thank u all for supporting Fiachra this summer n putting your trust & faith in him to take care of your furbabies- im super grateful to each n every one of u ❤
Fiachra there aren't enough superlatives left to describe ya .. phenomenal liathroidi to take the kennels on at 15yrs old . 65 days on the bounce getting up at the crack of dawn on good n bad days hail rain or shine , takes a bit of character to pull that off 💪
Anyhoo, hope u have the mother of all sleep ins this morning , hard earned n well deserved.

Sin é.... my very last walk at the good life for 2025 and I couldn't have a sweeter dog for the last walk thank you Bó. I can't believe that the 2 months are over already. A massive thank you to everybody who trusted me with the care of their dogs. It's been hard work but I've loved every minute. A special thanks to my mam we haven't seen much of each other these 2 months and I'm really looking forward to spending some quality time you before school starts❤️ dad thanks a mil for letting me take over the kennels and being my own boss and I have no idea how you did it for 15 years (without going mental🤣) and thanks for being there everytime I needed you for the last 2 months no words, your a fu**in legend
