Cooper was one of those unforgettable little characters who could make anyone smile! 🥰

From the moment he arrived at KLAWS, his cleverness, cheeky personality and beautiful yellow eyes made him impossible not to fall in love with.

He loved playing with his foster sisters Ember and Karmel, and even made another KLAWS friend, Sully. 🐾

Always ready for mischief and full of personality, Cooper was clearly born to be someone’s very special companion. ❤️

And now this handsome boy is one of the stars of our 2027 calendar! 📅

🚨 WHY IS NEUTERING SO IMPORTANT?

This autumn, KLAWS and other rescues are overwhelmed with kittens. We’re struggling to find enough foster homes, resources and spaces for all the little ones who need our help. 💔

Neutering is one of the most effective ways to prevent unwanted pregnancies and help keep the cat population under control. Without it, the cycle continues, more kittens are born into a world where safe homes and rescue spaces are already in desperately short supply.

💚 Prevention is kinder than crisis. By getting your cat neutered, you’re helping protect their welfare, prevent future suffering and ease the pressure on rescues working tirelessly to help cats in need.

🚨❤️ HOW IS MR. STEED STILL WAITING?! ❤️🚨

Honestly, we just cannot believe it! 😭🐾

This absolutely gorgeous boy is now ONE YEAR OLD and still hasn’t found his forever home. How has this total package of a dog not been snapped up yet?! 🥺💔

Meet MR. STEED, the handsome boy who seems to tick every box and then some! 🐶❤️

✨ So, what makes Steed so special?

🐕 Brilliant with other dogs
🐱 Friendly with cats
👧 Wonderful with children
🐑 A gentleman around livestock
❤️ Super affectionate and loving
🐾 Sociable, gentle and friendly
🌟 And he’s NOT A CHASER!

Steed is a beautiful ¾ Collie, ¼ Pointer, with a striking black-and-white coat and the sweetest nature. 🖤🤍

He’s at that lovely age where he’s still young, playful and ready for adventures, but also ready to become someone’s very best friend. He has so much love to give and deserves a family who will cherish him for the rest of his life. 🏡💕

We honestly cannot understand why this boy is still being overlooked. He has so much going for him, and somewhere out there is a family who would be absolutely perfect for him.

💔 Lucy is still waiting. Can we please get this girl out of kennels and into a home? 🐾

Remember Lucy, the beautiful deaf girl with one blue eye and one brown eye? 💙🤎

Lucy is still in kennels, and kennel life really isn’t where she belongs. She needs a chance to start living the life she deserves, to feel safe, build trust, learn, explore and finally be part of a home. ❤️

At just 10 months old, she has so much life ahead of her. But a kennel environment isn’t the ideal place for her to learn about the world, develop her social skills and become the happy, confident dog we know she can be.

✨ We’re looking for a foster home, a foster-to-adopt home, or a forever home. All options are on the table - we just want Lucy OUT of kennels and given a chance.

Lucy is deaf, so she’ll need someone willing to understand her needs and perhaps explore training with hand signals. She doesn’t currently get along particularly well with other dogs, although an experienced, committed dog owner may be able to help her improve through patient, appropriate training.

🐱 Lucy also chases cats, so a cat-free home is essential.

We know Lucy may not be the easiest match for every household. But somewhere out there, there may be someone with the right experience, patience and heart to give this girl the chance she needs.

🙏 Please don’t let Lucy grow up in kennels. She deserves a home, a comfortable bed, a person of her own and the chance to discover what it means to be loved.

❤️🐾 A VERY SPECIAL SUCCESS STORY - BAILEY IS HOME! 🐾❤️

What a rollercoaster of emotions this week has been! But thankfully, this story has the happiest ending we could have hoped for. 🥹❤️

Our rescue girl Bailey was on her way to a wonderful new life in the UK when something nobody could have expected happened. During the handover, Bailey went missing. 💔

With terrible weather making an already frightening situation even worse, everyone was desperately hoping she would be found safe.

And Bailey? Well, it seems our cheeky girl had decided to spend some of her adventure making friends with the local cows! 🐄🤦‍♀️❤️

While Bailey was exploring the countryside, an incredible group of people were working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring her home.

The team at Lost Dog Recovery UK South were absolutely amazing. Their trapper arrived at the farm at 7am and stayed throughout the day, patiently waiting for the right moment. The farmer was wonderful too, helping everyone keep track of Bailey’s whereabouts.

There was so much hope, worry and love surrounding this little girl. Everyone was willing her to take those few steps into the humane trapping crate.

And finally… SHE DID! 🥹👏❤️

Bailey was safe.

We can only imagine the relief felt by Wendy, who had been beside herself with worry throughout the ordeal. After everything, we suspect Bailey won’t be leaving her sight anytime soon! 🩷

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to Lost Dog Recovery UK South, whose patience, dedication and hard work played such an important part in bringing Bailey to safety. ❤️

🌟 MEET BISCUIT, ONE OF OUR CALENDAR STARS!

Biscuit’s story began when he was just four weeks old, found in a cardboard box outside a pub in Kenmare alongside his brother Catburry. 💔

Both kittens were in a terrible condition. Biscuit had a severely infected eye, while his little brother had a dislocated shoulder.

Thankfully, after receiving care and spending time in a loving foster home, Biscuit was ready for a fresh start. ❤️

His forever family were looking for a companion for their cat Millie, and Biscuit turned out to be the perfect match!

Now known as Archie, he and Millie have become wonderful friends, filling their days with playtime and mischief. 🥰🐾
