🖤 Still Waiting… Could Una Be Your Perfect Match? 🖤

It’s been almost two weeks since we first introduced beautiful Una, and surprisingly, this special girl hasn’t had a single enquiry yet.

Meanwhile, Una has been quietly blossoming in foster care, and her transformation has been nothing short of wonderful. 🌸

When she arrived end of May, Una was so scared that she hid behind a mirror. Then it was under a desk. Slowly, she began venturing out at night, then playing, and now she’s confidently exploring her foster home during the day.

What has become crystal clear is that Una is a sweetheart with a loving heart and plenty of kitten energy. Her absolute favourite thing in the world is being stroked. ❤️ In fact, she recently won over her pet sitter in record time and quickly turned them into a cuddle buddy!

While seeing other dogs and cats helped build her confidence, Una isn’t dependent on having animal companions. She could be happy as an only pet or in a home with other friendly animals.

She just needs someone willing to give her a gentle, patient introduction to her new life. Indoor living and humans are still a little confusing to her, but every day she grows braver, more affectionate, and more trusting. We have a feeling that before long, Una will be someone’s devoted lap cat, showering them with love and purrs.

🐾 ADOPTION APPEAL – Meet Jake 🐾

Jake is a sweet, super adorable mature lady who has been living happily with a loving family on a farm since she was adopted from KLAWS three years ago, together with her best friend, Rose. ❤️

Sadly, her family is now facing a move to a home that isn’t suitable for dogs, and with heavy hearts they must find a new home for their beloved companions.

Jake has enjoyed the freedom of farm life and loves spending time outdoors exploring and roaming the land. But don’t let that fool you, she’s equally fond of the comforts of home and loves curling up indoors for a cosy night’s sleep. 😊

She is friendly, affectionate, and devoted to the people she knows and trusts, although she can be a little wary when meeting new people for the first time.

When it comes to livestock, Jake is quite content to mind her own business and shows very little interest in them. We don’t know how she would get along with cats or young children, as she hasn’t had much experience around either.

Jake deserves another chance to find a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by kindness, comfort, and companionship. Could that home be yours? ❤️

To the dads who guide, support, protect, and love unconditionally - thank you for everything you do. And a special shout-out to all the dog daddies and cat daddies who make sure their furry family members are spoiled with treats, cuddles, walks, and endless affection. 🐶🐱

There’s now just one week remaining in the extended KLAWS June Neutering Scheme 🐱💚

If you’ve been putting it off or simply haven’t had a chance to book yet, now is the time. This reduced-cost scheme finishes at the end of June and appointments are limited.

Every year, countless kittens are born into difficult circumstances - facing hunger, illness, injury, and life without a secure home. Neutering is one of the most effective ways to prevent this suffering before it starts.

It also provides important health and welfare benefits for your own cat.

🐾 VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED 🐾

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who shared our recent volunteer appeal. We are delighted to welcome two new volunteers to our charity shop team! ❤️

Unfortunately, with two of our main volunteers currently unavailable, we are still struggling to cover all of our shop shifts and are looking for a few more helping hands.

Could you spare a few hours a week?

Our charity shop plays a vital role in raising funds for the animals in our care, and every volunteer helps us keep the doors open and continue our work.

We would particularly love to hear from reliable, animal-loving people aged 18+, including students looking to gain valuable work experience over the summer.

🐾 Meet Loofy – your new best friend! 🐾

Good ol’ Loofy is a friendly, affectionate boy with so much love to give 😊

Loofy is a true fan of people, he loves pretty much everyone he meets: adults, kids, and everyone in between 😊

When he’s not swooning over humans, he loves spending his time playing with all kinds of toys. Tugging, chasing, fetching, or just goofing around – you name it, he’s into it!

And wait for it… he is absolutely a-okay with cats too! Sounds too good to be true? Well, it isn’t 😊

To top it all off, this very good boy is already crate-trained and perfectly happy with that arrangement.

🐾❤️ MEET CHERRY ❤️🐾

Cherry is the kind of cat who steals hearts without even trying. His favourite way to show affection? Rubbing his face against yours, often followed by a sweet little kiss on the cheek. 😊

This handsome young boy is playful, gentle, and full of fun. He’s absolutely mad about wand toys (especially feather wands!), but he’ll happily chase balls, strings, and just about anything else, as long as his favourite human is joining in. 😊

Cherry also has a very special little quirk: his tail is slightly crooked. It doesn’t bother him in the slightest and only adds to his unique charm, making him even more lovable. ❤️

And while he does enjoy a good brushing session, it’s important to remember that Cherry believes all grooming appointments should be conducted strictly on his terms. 😉

🌟 SUNDAY SUCCESS STORY – LITTLE LEGEND DINKY 🌟

Some dogs are only meant to stay for a little while… and some have other plans 😉💚

Dinky is a very special KLAWS success story, and it’s easy to see why.

At just 13 weeks old, Dinky has already had quite the start to life 🐾 He was one of three puppies born to Rosie right in his foster family’s kitchen 🏡💕. Rosie was a wonderful mum, giving Dinky and his siblings the very best start before they all began their journey towards forever homes.

Well… almost all of them 😆

While his brother and sister found their forever families, Dinky had other ideas and decided he was already home 🏡💚

These days, Dinky is keeping everyone entertained with his endless enthusiasm, his love of tennis balls 🎾, his favourite Kong, and his mission to share his excitement with absolutely everyone he meets 😂🐾

Like any young pup, he’s still learning that not everyone is quite as enthusiastic as he is, but he’s getting there and enjoying every minute of life along the way 🥰

From a tiny puppy born under the watchful eye of KLAWS volunteers to a much-loved member of the family, Dinky’s future is looking very bright indeed ✨
