Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is one of the most common infectious diseases in cats — but It’s preventable.

🦠 FeLV weakens the immune system, making cats vulnerable to illness, infection, and even cancer. It spreads through close contact — grooming, sharing bowls, or bites.

🛡️ The good news? There’s a vaccine!
✅ Especially important for kittens
✅ Outdoor or free-roaming cats
✅ Cats living with other felines

📌 Note: This is not a standard vaccine. Please check with your vet if your cat needs it — especially if they go outdoors or live with other cats.

💬 If you’re adopting from us — ask about vaccination status, but keep in mind that FeLV is not included in our standard protocol.

🐾 Sweet little PANCAKE is ready for her FOREVER HOME ✨

🫶🏻 In a very short time, Pancake has transformed from a shy, scared little kitty into the most affectionate little bundle of joy 🤩

💚 Once she found out what cuddles were, she declared them her new favourite thing. She just loooves kisses and cuddles – she just can’t get enough! 😻

😽 Pancake also loves the other cats in her foster home, so would probably enjoy living with another cat in her forever household, but she would probably also be happy with lots of human love.

✨ SUNDAY SUCCESS STORY - Inca is celebrating 6 months in a loving, safe home 🫶🏻

😮‍💨 For 3 years, Inca lived on the streets, begging for food. She found temporary kindness behind a hotel housing refugees, but when they moved on, she was left all alone.

🥳 At the start of this year, she finally found her way to KLAWS and with that into a new, loving, safe forever home.

🥰 After six months of warmth, regular meals, and lots of cuddles, she’s definitely left her stray life behind her.

🌡️ RECORD temperatures over Europe - Think about your pets!

🥵 With the ongoing now also in , it is important to not just protect yourself, but also your furry family members!

🧐 The survival rate for dogs with heatstroke is around 50% and 1 out of 4 cats will not survive a severe heatstroke - identifying symptoms and acting fast, is of utmost importance!

👇 Here is how to keep your pets safe:

✅ Provide access to shade and fresh water at all times, especially during warmer weather.
✅Avoid strenuous exercise during the hottest parts of the day.
✅Never leave a pet in a parked car, even for a short time.
✅Be mindful of indoor temperatures and ensure good ventilation.

❣️ Be mindful, slow down the pace, and just enjoy a relaxed summertime - it won’t last long 🫶🏻

❣️ Loving FOSTER home needed - Fred still believes in humans!

🥲 Despite not having the best start in life, Fred is still hopeful for his happy ending.

🤗 To make that happen, Fred is looking for a lovely foster home, where he can settle and build trust.

ℹ️ Fred is around 3-4 years old and will come with all the vetting necessary.

✨ We’re looking for a foster home without children (or at least no younger than 14), cause he simply isn’t used to human puppies yet and they make him quite anxious.
🐈 We don’t know how he is around cats, but he is good with most other dogs - if they’re not too bossy🐕

🫶🏻 Overall Fred is a loving boy, with all the potential to be a 5⭐️ pet, but he needs to rebuild his trust in the world and be further socialised, before moving into a forever home.

✨ ADOPTION / FOSTER Appeal - Jack needs a temporary or forever home 🏠

🤍🖤 Black & white Collie Jack is a lovely boy. Just 16 months old, he’s a typical puppy, who is timid at first but once he recognises you, he is pure joy. 🤩

☑️ Jack is neutered, vaccinated, and in best health. 🦮 He walks well on a leash, is very bright, and learns fast, but of course will need some more gentle training as he grows older.
⚡️ As a young gentleman, he has energy and needs a fair bit of exercise - Who needs a walking partner?

👧👦 Jack would do well in a family with kids, due to his young age, we would recommend children of 10 and older.
🐶 He is still is a bit insecure with other dogs at first, but shows no aggression even around food.

🥰 So with a bit of love, patience, and training, he will make a wonderful bestest family friend.
