One of our biggest supporters has written a fabulous book about her dear little dog Bear.
He sadly passed away earlier this year, and this is a wonderful tribute to him.
The books are available to buy at our rescue shop near Supervalu Kenmare, a bargain at 5 euros and all money raised goes directly to the rescue.

Hi everyone!
My name is Missy and my foster mum says I am absolutely gorgeous.
I was a farm dog but I decided that was a bad idea, all that mud and work!😉.
My foster home is so much better than a shed, I love this thing called a sofa, and it's nice and warm inside.
I am crate trained, almost lead trained, house trained and all my vet work is done.
I am so ready for a new forever home.
I love other dogs and I love toys and playing with a ball.
I am 3 years old so I need an energetic, fun home.
I am very gentle and affectionate and I really love cuddles!!
No cats for me though please.
Paws crossed in hope,
Love Missy. Xx

Liking and sharing will help Missy find her forever home🙏.

No sign of Sally's puppies!
She is growing in confidence every day and is a complete sweetheart.
The wait continues........

Polo is an 8 month old Chi/Terrier cross.
He is crate and house trained and walks well on his lead.
Polo is learning recall, and the fact that he is very food motivated is really helping with this!!
He needs a home without young children and would be better as an only pet, but could live with another patient dog.
Polo is full of beans and loves going on walks and playing with his ball.
Polo can be possessive of his toys and especially his food so he needs an experienced owner who will know how to cope with these behaviour traits.
Please apply online at www.kenmareanimalrescue.ie
We are located in Kenmare Co Kerry but transport all over Ireland and the UK.

Liking and sharing will help Polo find his forever home.

Hi, it's Rover here.
While Sally has been getting all the attention, I'm still here , patiently waiting for my forever home!
My foster mum says I'm a great boy, I walk nicely on my lead and come when I'm called.
I'm great with the dog savvy children in my foster family, and will live happily with another female dog, but no cats please!
I'm crate and house trained, and all my vet work is done including the rabies vaccination.
If you're not able for a puppy, then I am your boy!!
Please apply online at www.kenmareanimalrescue.ie or if your computer skills are as bad as mine, dm the page!!
Paws crossed in hope!
Love, Rover.🙏🙏

Liking and sharing will increase my chances of finding a home!

SALLY UPDATE.

Sally is settling in well and even supervised her foster mum mucking out the stables this morning!
She has discovered that sleeping in a vet bed lined basket is much more comfortable than the floor.
Sally's favourite thing is belly rubs!!
She is a very sweet and gentle girl, we are letting her take things at her own pace and she is gradually becoming braver.
She has a little potter around the enclosed paddock and is also eating and drinking well.
The waiting now begins for the birth of her puppies!

Thank you for all the lovely messages and comments regarding Sally. We have never had a dog get 6.8k likes before on our page. Just amazing!!

Beautiful 2 year old Sally came into the rescue today, surrendered from a farm who asked us to find a great home for her.
She was booked in to be spayed but when we picked her up from her farm it was obvious she was pregnant.
Sally hadn't had a collar and lead on before so had to be carried into the vets, and was so scared she wet herself😪.
A scan showed she has at least 5 pups, and is due in approximately 10 days.
She has gone into foster with Jill, and has a lovely warm stable, a comfy bed and plenty of food and water. Bringing her into a house at this stage would be too stressful for her, as she has never lived inside.

She is already relaxing and offering up her rather large belly for a rub!!
Sally is an absolute sweetie and we'll make sure she gets 5 star treatment!!

More happy tears were shed this weekend, when dear old Jessie went to her new forever home with Rowan, a returning adopter and a big supporter of the rescue.
Before Jessie's owner passed away he was very concerned that she be looked after.
Tommy, we hope you are looking down, and are happy seeing that Jessie will live out her twilight years safe, warm and very much loved.🥰😍

Another busy day dropping beautiful retired working sheepdog Kate to her fabulous new home in the UK.
As always huge thanks to Susann O'Sullivan Daly for fostering Kate.
Everyone who met Kate fell in love with her, and we wish her a long and happy retirement with Simon and Angela. 🥰😍
