What a lovely way to finish the week with Rex, Coco & Ruby! ❤️🐾

This is now my third time looking after this amazing trio, and they never fail to make me smile. Every visit they become more comfortable with me, get even more excited to see me, and I swear I get even more cuddles each time! Their personalities are just the best, and they always keep me laughing with their funny little characters.

With the warmer weather this week, Rex enjoyed some later evening walks alongside my family dogs, and it’s safe to say they’ve become besties for life!

And of course, after all that fun, it would have been rude not to finish the week with a well-deserved pup cup! 🍦🐾

Thank you for trusting me with your gorgeous trio once again. I already can’t wait for our next adventure together! 🩷

Yesterday I had the pleasure of day sitting Narla and Eminem, and we even had some special guests join us – Tiki and AJ! 🐾💛

With the warm weather, we kept the day nice and calm, making sure everyone stayed cool, comfortable, and happy. We enjoyed plenty of cuddles, enrichment, and relaxing together.

I think it’s safe to say Tiki and Eminem wanted to be attached to me every second of the day… and I absolutely loved every minute of it! 🥹❤️

I can’t wait to see these gorgeous pups again in September for their sleepover. Bring on more cuddles and adventures! 🐶

☀️ Hi everyone! ☀️

Hope you’re all surviving the hot weather, especially all of our lovely pooches! 🐶💛

It looks like we’re in for another warm week next week, so I’ve now messaged everyone with any updated walk times and arrangements.

As always, I’ll be keeping a close eye on the weather each day. If temperatures change—whether they cool down or get even hotter—I’ll be in touch with everyone as needed to make sure your dogs stay safe and comfortable. Their wellbeing will always be my top priority. ❤️

I had the absolute pleasure of looking after beautiful Buffy overnight, and despite this heat, all she wanted to do was stay right by my side. 🥹❤️

We made sure to keep nice and cool throughout the day with plenty of enrichment toys, an early morning walk before it got too warm, lots of indoor cuddles, and, of course, plenty of frozen goodies to help keep her comfortable. 🧩🧊🐾

She was such a joy to have, and I loved every minute of spending time with her. 💕

🚨HEATSTROKE KILLS DOGS🚨

It doesn’t always have to be ‘hot’ for an animal to develop heatstroke. Exercising excessively in warm weather, or being left in a warm or humid environment that is poorly ventilated can cause animals to quickly overheat. Extra attention should be given to large dogs, flat faced breeds, puppies, overweight dogs, older dogs, black coated dogs and dogs with emotional behaviour difficulties as studies have shown they can be affected by the heat more than others. Avoidance is always best, but it’s important to know the signs of heatstroke so that you can treat your dog appropriately and know when to seek veterinary attention should they be unfortunate enough to suffer from it.

If you are concerned that your pet is overheating, you should act immediately, as heatstroke can rapidly become a life-threatening emergency; We recommend to “cool first, transport second” as the immediate first aid response for dogs with heatstroke. Owners should also seek veterinary advice as soon as possible.

Well… what a month June has been! 🌞🐾

The weather has certainly kept us all on our toes, but I couldn’t be more grateful to each and every one of my wonderful pooches and their amazing owners. Thank you for putting your trust in me to care for your dogs—it truly means the world. I love every single one of them, and I feel so lucky to do a job I’m so passionate about. ❤️

With the hot weather making another appearance next week, all messages have now been sent to clients regarding any changes to walks and visits. As always, your dogs’ safety and wellbeing will always come first. 🐶💛

Here’s hoping July brings us a few cooler days (and maybe a little less planning around the heat! 😅).
