Hello and welcome to the page of: Lisa Jackson’s Dog Training. Here at our training centre in Kempsey, Worcestershire we run lots of different classes throughout the week: Puppy pre-school, puppy school, good citizen dog scheme, beginners, intermediate and advanced training sessions, fun agility and fun flyball. Puppy school and training sessions are also run at our classes in Rushwick, Worcestershire.

So this fits with what I was going to post today. We went for a lovely walk with the dogs over Pitchcroft this afternoon, a nice break from decorating. We decided to walk round and get a coffee at the cafe and there was a lovely lady sat doing a cross word puzzle. She was very taken with the dogs and then proceeded to tell us all about her life. It was clear very quickly that she had always lived with her parents, cared for her parents until they died and now was very lonely and struggling with out them. I can obviously resonate with this having cared for my mother from the age of 9 and then for my father for over 10 years whilst he battled Parkinsons and then Alzheimers. I was going to post about the sweat shirts as we are supporting Hoodies for Heroes, who try to highlight the high rates of su***de. People with ADHD are 4 times more likely to die young, either through su***de or from risk taking and having accidents but today really highlighted how, many people are lonely and dont feel that there is anyone out there for them. So one day at a time and take the time to chat to somebody, as they may be really struggling and it could really make their day.

After months of waiting the diploma certificate finally arrived, also spent a few months working on an SEN diploma to get my coaching career started and finished that as well. By March I will be a qualified coach for SEN children, young adults and adults. This is 6 months of very hard graft I have 14 books to read as well as weekly lectures but I am working my way through it and loving every minute.

TRAINING CLASSES

In Kempsey we offer classes for Puppy pre-school, puppy school, good citizen dog scheme, beginners, intermediate and advanced training sessions, fun agility, fun flyball and Hoppers classes. We also run puppy and follow on classes from our satellite centre at Rushwick Village Hall.
