🐾 A warm welcome to beautiful Bella the Cockapoo on her very first visit to the Wayside cabin! 💚

It was such a pleasure meeting this sweet girl for her full groom. Bella's lovely mum has been unwell for some time, so unfortunately her coat had become matted in places. With plenty of patience, gentle handling, and some detangling spray, I was able to carefully work through her coat and remove the matting while keeping her at a lovely length.

Bella was an absolute superstar throughout her groom and coped so well. I'm incredibly proud of her, and she left the cabin feeling fresh, comfortable, and looking absolutely beautiful. 🐶✨

🐾 Beautiful 9-month-old Roxy the German Shepherd visited the cabin for her very first Bath & Brush. 💚

Although Roxy is used to baths at home with Mum, a new environment can feel a little overwhelming. She was a little nervous at first, but with plenty of reassurance, tasty treats, and her favourite Greek yoghurt on a licky mat, she soon relaxed and did brilliantly.

Roxy left the cabin feeling fresh, fluffy, and super soft, finished with a smart bandana and a spritz of doggy cologne. Well done, gorgeous girl—you were so brave! 🥰

🐾 Beautiful Bella the 2-year-old white Akita visited the cabin for a de-shed, and what a lovely girl she was! 💚

Although Bella was a little nervous, she was such a gentle soul. With patience, kindness, reassurance, and a little help from Mum, she relaxed beautifully through her bath, blow-dry, and de-shed. She was an absolute star and left looking gorgeous, smelling fresh, and proudly wearing her smart bandana. 🐶✨

🐾 Handsome Hugo the Basset Hound was back in the cabin for his regular bath, brush, de-shed and ear clean, and it's always such a pleasure to see him! 💚

I'm pleased to say Hugo was much less vocal this visit, which definitely made for a quieter grooming session! 😄 He enjoyed a good de-shed in the bath to remove all that loose hair before a gentle blow dry and ear clean.

Hugo left the cabin looking absolutely gorgeous, feeling fresh, and smelling amazing. Those happy tail wags as he headed home always make my day! 🐶✨

A warm welcome to the Wayside cabin for these gorgeous 4½-month-old Hungarian Komondor puppies, Dave & Lottie! 🐾💚

They visited for their very first puppy groom, enjoying a gentle bath and blow dry to help build confidence with the grooming process. Dave wasn't too impressed with bath time and fancied a good roll on the mat afterwards! 😂 Lottie was much happier to be pampered.

Komondors have a unique coat that should never be brushed or towel dried, so drying takes extra time and patience. Both pups coped brilliantly for their first visit and finished their pamper with smart bandanas before relaxing in the garden until it was time to go home. 🐶💚

🐾 Handsome Icabod the Cavapoo visited the cabin today for his very first groom, and it was such a pleasure to welcome this lovely boy. 💚

As with every dog that visits Wayside Dog Groomers, I wanted Icabod's first experience to be a calm, positive one. We took everything at his pace with plenty of patience, gentle reassurance, praise, and lots of cuddles along the way. First grooms can feel a little overwhelming, but building trust and confidence is always my priority.

I was so proud of how well he coped throughout his groom. He relaxed beautifully, took everything in his stride, and was an absolute superstar from start to finish. By the end of his pamper, he had the softest, shiniest coat, a lovely tidy trim, and looked so incredibly handsome. ✨🐶

The best part was seeing Mum's smile when she came to collect him. She was so pleased with how wonderful he looked, and moments like that make what I do so rewarding. 💕

Darling little Inca the Cavapoo visited the cabin for her very first full groom, and she was an absolute sweetheart. 💗

She was a little nervous to begin with, so we took things at her pace with plenty of cuddles, reassurance, treats, and patience. Before long she relaxed beautifully and enjoyed her pamper session.
She left looking so pretty with her fresh groom, gorgeous little bow, and smelling amazing. Mum was delighted with the result and has already booked Inca's next appointment. I can't wait to see you again, little girl! 🐾

Beautiful Clemmy the Cocker Spaniel came back to the cabin for her 2nd full groom, and it was so lovely to see her and her wonderful Mum & Dad again. 💕

Grooming is still a little scary for Clemmy, but with plenty of patience, cuddles, praise and a few tasty treats, we take everything at her pace. She truly is the sweetest little soul. 🐾

Her biggest reward? A surprise doggy bag of Dad's dinner when they picked her up! 🤭 Mum and Dad loved her fresh groom and pretty bandana too. See you in 3 months, gorgeous girl! 💗

✨ Gorgeous Mya the Shih Tzu came back to the cabin for her regular pamper, and I'm so proud of how much her confidence has grown with every visit. 💕

🐾 Sweet Tullulah the Cockapoo visited the cabin for her very first full groom. 💗

She was a little nervous at first, which is completely normal in new surroundings, but her gentle nature soon shone through as she relaxed into the grooming process. After a soothing bath, careful clip and a little snooze while being dried, she was transformed into a neat, fluffy girl smelling gorgeous and finished with a pretty pink bandana! 🎀

Mum and Dad were over the moon to see their beautiful girl looking and feeling her best. 🥰
