🐹 Here’s some very interesting data collected from people selling or rehoming guinea pigs online (think Gumtree, Pets4Homes and Preloved). The data was shared with us by Early Phoenix (earlyphoenix.ai) and backs up what we hear from rescues — that too many people buy piggies on impulse and lose interest after 6–12 months.

“Allergies” is frequently cited as the reason, but we suspect this might hide other reasons. Lots of work to be done!

It’s 3 years since we adopted this little bundle of joy 🥹🫶 Audrey, Mimi, Paris and Billy Jean were teeny tiny when they first joined us having been born in a rescue. Can’t quite believe how quickly this time has gone by or how big they are now! 🤯🐹❤️

Creating an extended floor time space for the piggies linked to their Ozzy Cages enclosure. Good times!
