Part 2 of our ‘How They Fettle’, focusing on Goats Milk being used as hydration.

Hearing how many of you use it for hydration after sports makes us VERY excited for the changes we are making to this product soon. It’s going to be even better!

Thanks to those who shared your photos and messages with us for part 2. 💚

My honest opinion, not gospel. “Working dog” doesn’t mean what it used to.

We’ve still got proper pet dogs, and that’s great!

But between gundogs training for trials, canicross, sledding, protection sport, agility, flyball, hoopers, mantrailing, club nights, competitions, all sorts, a lot of you are properly working your dog and just never called it that.

Tell me what yours does, genuinely curious…

Something new is coming to Fettle... and we’re so excited to finally share it!

We’re hosting our first ever Fettle webinar and kicking things off with Raven K9 Dog Training | Emma | Dog Trainer

The webinar is all about ‘Treating Dogs Like the Athletes They Are’.

Whether your dog is worked, you compete in a sport or do an activity just for fun, their care shouldn’t begin and end when the activity does.

The webinar will be exploring how we can better support our dogs around the sports and jobs they take part in. From preparing their bodies for activity to supporting recovery and everything in between, we’ll be discussing why it’s so important to treat our dogs like the athletes they are.

Wednesday 26th August @ 7pm - £15 per person

Join us for our very first webinar and an evening of learning to help you give your active or working dog the care they deserve. More into is on the event listing on our website.

Tickets available now - link in bio!

We’ll be at The Framlingham Country Show on 22nd & 23rd August!

Here’s our personal top picks with a few others too that we think are worth going to see! This show is very local to us so we’re looking forward to being apart of it.

Make sure to stop by and see us - we’ll be giving out FREE goats milk slushies and our spin the wheel will be back for your chance to win prizes.

We will receive our stand number on Friday so we will share it to our stories once we have it.

This is a first for Fettle: tinctures. Not a powder for once.

People have been asking us to launch mushroom products for years. I kept saying no. Mushrooms are having a moment right now and I've never wanted to jump on something just because it's trend - if we're going to make it, I need to actually believe in it first.

What started to change my mind was Digby. He had lipoma issues a few years back (long story, it's on the blog) and Turkey Tail was one of the things that helped alongside milk thistle. I've had him on it for years now and seen what it's done, and that's what made me want to properly dig into mushrooms rather than hopping on a trend.

And the more I learned, the more I understood why.

There's ergothioneine: a compound dogs can't make themselves and have to get from food, that seems to head straight for the parts of the body under the most stress, like the liver and brain.

There are beta-glucans: which don't just "boost" the immune system in some vague way, they actually help it recognise threats better.

And triterpenoids: which calm inflammation and help the body find balance rather than just masking symptoms.

None of that is stuff I knew a year ago.

We'll go into each of these properly over the coming week. What they are, which mushroom does what, why it matters.

Because it's genuinely worth understanding, not just taking our word for it.

So- three tinctures, available for pre-order:
Turkey Tail: immunity, gut health, the one that helped Digby
Lion's Mane: focus, cognitive support, the nervous system
Reishi: calming, stress support, liver health

UK made. 100% organic. Hot water extracted, 1:4 ratio. Glycerin base, not alcohol.

Expected delivery within 3-4 weeks.
