Today we had the pleasure of meeting Gatsby the Great. He came in to see our lovely vet Vicky as he’s been losing some weight recently and seems to be less active. As you can see from our photos, it was definitely love at first sight 💚

Today we had the absolute pleasure of seeing this lovely little lady again for her Post Operative Check with our RVN (Registered Veterinary Nurse), Kyrstie 🩺

Post op checks are important for monitoring a pet’s recovery after their surgery to ensure healing. These checks are usually scheduled within a few days of surgery and include:

🐾 assessing the surgical site for any infection and/or delayed healing.

🐾 pain management - assess the pet’s pain management.

🐾 check general health & overall condition including vital signs ( heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature & weight).

🐾

We are dedicated to making this day as fun + informative as possible, so join Dr. Karmen for a free "Ask the Vet" session for any pet care queries you may have, and a "Poorly Teddy Bear Bandaging" session to try your hand at bandaging! 🧸🩺🩹

These will take place from 12.15pm until the dog show starts at 1.45pm ⏲
