Brucella canis is a bacterial infection that can affect dogs and has become more common in the UK in recent years, particularly in dogs that have been imported, or travelled abroad. Brucella infections can go on to cause of variety of health problems in dogs, and infected dogs remain infected for life.

Brucella can be spread from dogs to humans. While the risk to most pet owners is very low, veterinary teams have a greater potential for exposure due to the nature of their work. This gorgeous girl is feeling light as a feather after her grooming session with us!😄

Sometimes our long haired feline friends need a little help in the grooming department, and our lovely nursing team are happy to be of assistance!
