🌞Hot Weather Notice!🌞
With the warmer weather arriving, your dogs safety and wellbeing will always come first!🩷
Once temperatures begin exceeding 22°C, it can become too hot and unsafe for many dogs to walk comfortably, especially depending on factors such as direct sun, cloud cover, humidity, wind levels, and how quickly temperatures rise throughout the day. Because of this, I will be monitoring conditions hourly and making decisions based on what is safest for your dog at the time.
🌳 I will be walking in shaded areas and by streams where possible so your pups can stay cool while on their walkies.
🏠 I may have to switch some walks to home visits where appropriate for those dogs who are home alone when the heat is at its worst (usually from 11am onwards).
💧 I will be carrying bottles of fresh water with me at all times and ensuring your pups are left with water on their return home.
I will also be following the preferences everyone submitted on their summer forms which were sent out this week so plans will be put in place accordingly - if you are still yet to submit this please could this be done by the end of the weekend!☀️
Thank you for understanding and helping me keep your pups safe, happy and comfortable during the hot weather!🫶🏼🥰
