A 1pm group walk?! Where are we, the North Pole?! ❄️

Very grateful for a slight break in the heatwave today, which meant we could enjoy a semi-normal day of walks!

In 6 years of dog walking, this is by far the longest heatwave I’ve experienced. Honestly, it’s harder to continue through this than the coldest, wettest winters. It’s been so disheartening checking the forecast every day and seeing little to no reprieve.

It’s never easy cancelling walks when we want to be out, your dogs want to be out, and you want them out too. But your dogs safety will always come first. Every cancelled walk is income lost for us, but we’ll choose their welfare over our earnings every single time.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful clients for your patience, understanding and flexibility while our schedules have been all over the place. It looks like we’ve got another week or two of this to come, but we’ll keep doing everything we can to keep your dogs safe. 🐾❤️
