I do try and take photos of all your beautiful pups - this I’m good at, it’s the uploading that I seem to be behind on 🤣 Before, I had more time to do it all but now I’m busier (which I’m 100% grateful for) I’m struggling to find the time… saying that, if you don’t see them on here, always drop me a message as 9 times out of 10 I have taken one so will be able to send them over 😁

As most of you know by now, I won a business award 🥹🥹🥹

As we’re on the subject of the weather…

Ways to help keep your dog cool:
☀️ Walk early morning or late evening only
☀️ Avoid hot pavements (if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws)
☀️ Plenty of fresh water available at all times
☀️ Cooling mats, damp towels, paddling pools & shaded areas help massively
☀️ NEVER leave dogs in cars — even for a few minutes

🚨 Signs of heatstroke in dogs:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Lethargy or weakness
• Vomiting/diarrhoea
• Bright red gums
• Wobbling/collapse

🚑 If you suspect heatstroke:

1. Move them somewhere cool immediately
2. Pour cool (NOT ice cold) water over paws, belly & body
3. Offer small amounts of water
4. Use fans/airflow if possible
5. Contact your vet ASAP

Please keep yourselves and your pups safe in this heat ☀️

☀️ HOT WEATHER NOTICE ☀️

With the temperatures climbing this week, please don’t worry about bringing your dogs to their grooming appointments 🐶✂️
The salon is luckily in the shade all day and kept nice and cool with fans/airflow, so it’s perfectly safe for them to come in ❤️

If you do attend your appointment:
🐾 Please avoid walking your dog
🐾 Keep car journeys cool and ventilated
🐾 Bring water if needed (there will be a bowl outside for them)
🐾 If your dog seems distressed in the heat, message me and we can reschedule where possible

If you do decide you’d prefer to reschedule due to the heat, that’s absolutely fine 🐾❤️

As this weather can leave last-minute gaps that are difficult to refill, payment will still need to be made on the original appointment date to secure the booking. You won’t be charged again for the rearranged appointment — this simply helps ensure I’m not left out of pocket while still allowing flexibility for everyone during the hot weather ☀️
