The lovely Ollie came today, well earned hair cut as the snow ❄️ ❄️ stopped us last time, he also had his teeth cleaned just look at the difference if your dog has a smelly breath check there teeth or ask me to and I will tell you if they need a clean as you can see it does work and your fur baby is in safe hands if they dnt let me I won't force them but most of them fall a sleep while having it done 🦷🦷

Please read we as professional groomers may seem like we moan about matting dogs but we only do it for the safety and care of your dog as some people don't understand how dangerous it is to let your dog get like this

The severity of mats. Mats are more than just a tangle in your dogs coat. A lot of people are unaware just how detrimental a mat is. Here is some knowledge on mats that will be quite the eye opener.
1. Mats pull on the skin.
2. They harbor bacteria, dead skin, debri and can smell.
3. They can create sores and wounds underneath.
4. Mats in the paw pads or armpits can change your dogs gait.
5. They are painful just existing. Creates bad blood circulation and can cause the blood to rush back to that area when removed. Hematomas. Bruising.

Removing mats:
1. Removing mats by brushing them out takes ALOT of time. And therefore costs more money.
2. Brushing them out still damages that hair.
3. Cutting them out can be dangerous especially if done by a non professional and will leave holes in the coat.
4. Clipping them out is still a lot of time, stressful and painful as the mats are pulled and tugged. It takes a very close (short) cut to get underneath mats to get them out. About 1/4 inch of coat will be left or bald spots.
5. When your dog needs the groomer to remove mats they are not set up for success. It is far more difficult to remain calm, comfortable and cooperative

Welcome willow to the gang and then the lovely Holly who is an old girl but boy she doesn't act it at all and Teddy who is just like a teddy 🧸 feels so soft now he's all ready for his Christmas holiday to France 🇫🇷 🐶

🐶 A busy week a head so it may be that I might forget to take photos of the dogs or it maybe the case that I dnt pot them straight away if I don't I apologise x

🐶 I just want to say thank you again for all the recommendations iv had just lately it means the world to know that not only you are super happy with your dogs hair cut but you also trust me with your babies like I say I only try to do my best and treat your pooches with the respect that they deserve and the love they deserve 🫶♥️

So I'm seeing and hearing a lot of my customers dogs are petrified of the fireworks so these may help I use them on dogs that don't like the blaster like Bentley and with using the happy hood it calms him down and he's much happier with it on it also helps with the fireworks

As most of you know I do love all dogs but rescue dogs are just that little bit more special as we don't really know what they like and what they don't, so as groomers it can be challenging sometimes but with patience and a lot of respect for them we manage to get the job done in a safe way but a happy way 🫶

Sophie came today for her first groom I used to groom the customers old dogs so she's a returning client but had been somewhere else first, which they couldn't do her so today I tried my best and yes we got Sophie all done yes ok, it was not easy but by the end of her groom the trust that she gave me was just amazing and worth all the hard work watch a little video of her at the end ♥️another dog has stolen my ❤️

Togo came for a good deshred yesterday, what an absolute pleasure it is Todo Togo yes it's hard work but just look at how bloody handsome he is after all that hair is out 💨. Luna came to help clean up after 💨💨 😂😂

This is Rosie she had her first full groom today unfortunately we couldn't do an introduction groom as she was too hairy/luggy so we did a full groom she was a bit nervous but she did amazing, see you in 7 weeks time

Just a little message to say thank you to my amazing customers for being so understanding and moving your appointments and I do also apologise for not replying to some as you are aware it's a busy time with the 🌞 shining and that, I always try my hardest to get back to customers ,Im only human so if I don't it's probably because I'm busy working and then sorting out my diary and all the other bits behind the scenes of running a small business and yes sometimes I can't sleep at night worrying iv not got back to someone if I haven't replied with in a couple of days just give me a little reminder

Also can you please keep me updated on any phone numbers that may have changed
