Sad news, after being unwell with no clear cause since April, I have been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma of the Jaw. It is a rare form of cancer that is usually found in children and young people. It has already spread to the top of my jaw as well and is very aggressive. Intensive in-patient chemotherapy in Cardiff starts on the 27th December and then on to an operation to remove half of my jaw by specialists in Birmingham.
I am so sad to say that I will not be returning to dog grooming, however I did start a new job supporting people with mental health disabilities (3 weeks before I was diagnosed 🤦🏻♀️) which I hope to return to at some point.
It has been a delight meeting all of you and your fur babies, I will miss you all xx
My cousins also surprised me with setting up a go fund me if you are hoping to offer support. Travelling to Cardiff and Birmingham with no income and supporting the four kids by myself is quite a struggle.
