Don't forget we will be at Tickton Farm this weekend, where there will also be a fun dog shows, lots of stalls and plenty of food and drink 😁

The show is on from 10am till 3pm 🐶

Please welcome our newest resident Missy.

She is a Central Asian Shepherd who is around 5 years old and has come into our care after being left in a house for a week 😢.

She has previously lived with both dogs and children over the age of 10 and can therefore be rehomed with them pending successful meets of each other. 💕

Due to her size we will be looking for a home that will be able to manage her and one that has experience with similar sized dogs and breeds. 🐾

She loves cuddles and affection just as much as much as she enjoys her treats 🥰

Please Welcome Ozil to the family. 🐾

Ozil is a 15 year old whippet who came into our care via the stray system and remained unclaimed so he is now looking for his forever home. ✨

Due to his age and unknown background we are looking to place Ozil in an animal free and child free home so he can have a quiet retirement. 🥰

Even though he is 15 he still enjoys a little potter down our lane and hasn’t seemed too interested in the other dogs passing. 💕

😺 Following on from our post from earlier this week regarding taking on some surprise kittens from a multi cat household...

We have just taken in 5 more from the same household, also ready to find their new forever homes 🥰

Their names are Cappuccino, Macchiato, Mocha, Espresso & Latte ☕☕

We still have 9 more cats to take from this household when we are able 😔

💜 Meet our lovely girl, Jackie, an approximately 2 year old Dachshund Cross with a huge personality and plenty of energy to spare!

She came into as as a stray and has remained unclaimed 😔

She absolutely loves being outdoors and can often be found zooming around the paddock, making the most of every opportunity to run and play. She's full of enthusiasm, fun, and character, and will thrive with an active family who can give her plenty of exercise and enrichment ⚽

Jackie can be a little wary of men, so will need patient introductions and understanding while she builds trust 🥰

Jackie has walked well with some dogs, however, is a little unsure of others, because of this we are looking to place her as an only dog at the moment 🐶

She is untested with cats

Jackie can live with children 12+ years old due to successful meets at the shelter 😊

✨ We just wanted to say a massive thank you ✨

Premier Inn in Kingswood have kindly gifted us their old duvets, so our dogs now have lots of extra comfort 🥰

Us and the dogs are very grateful for thinking of us, and they'll be some happy sleepy dogs tonight ❤️

We had a shock this morning when we turned down the lane...

We found a deer stuck in a gate, that had clearly been there a while and was in some pain and distress 😔

Luckily The Wildlife Alliance stepped in early hours of this morning and came straight down to help 🥰

The deer got and ran off fine with a few cuts and bruises 🦌

A huge thank you to The Wildlife Alliance for helping us and this poor boy out 💜

🐾 Introducing Milo 🐾

Milo is a 12 week old Staffie cross, who came in to us due to his owner no longer being able to cope with him 😔

This handsome little lad is full of life and personality, just as you'd expect from a young Staffie cross! He is a happy, playful puppy who loves nothing more than carrying his toys around and keeping himself entertained 🥰

As a typical bull breed youngster, he is energetic, enthusiastic, and eager to explore the world around him. He will need an adopter with experience of bull breeds who understands their needs and can provide consistent training, guidance, and plenty of positive outlets for his energy as he grows. He is displaying typical puppy behaviours of mouthing and nipping that unfortunately hasn't been dealt with at a younger age, this is also something that will also need persistent, positive only training 🙂

Milo can live with another dog subject to successful meets at the centre 🐶

Untested with cats

Milo can live with children 15+ years old, due to his mouthing and nipping behaviours he is showing
