Tuesday 19th the morning is our non ridden ABRS Rosette Award morning - this session will be based on feeds and feeding (10:30-12:30)

Tuesday 19th the afternoon is our non ridden ABRS Rosette Award afternoon - this session will be based on Tack Cleaning (1-3)

Wednesday 20th is our original funday. Spaces for this are filling fast and nearly sold out (10:30-2:30)

Thursday 21st is our adult hack morning. Spaces have nearly sold out! (9:30-12)

Something a little bit exciting has happened. Last week we told you that Hayley had been chosen as a finalist in the most amazing professional category of the Ely Hero Awards

Well, we've since found out she's now a finalist in "The Ely Hero Award"

Why is that so special? Here's why.....

"This award is the highlight of the night! Nominations are taken from other categories the judges feel would be appropriate because of what the nominee has done. The award will go to someone who judges believe stand out above all other nominations. The Ely Hero Award will look to reward someone who has done something truly remarkable and inspirational. They will have shown courage, be selfless, they won’t purposely look for praise, they will be concerned about others in need, have a desire to defend a moral cause, all without expectation of a reward. We want to celebrate and embolden this person to carry on and encourage others to do the same."

We cant wait until the 19th September to see Hayley out of her jods and glammed up in "all things in bloom" to celebrate with all the other Ely hero finalists.

Thank you again to the person who took the time to nominate Hayley. She really is so incredibly grateful and humbled by the whole experience

Wow! Week 5 already and this week sees our experienced dressage and jumping course!

We can't wait to have everyone with us. We asked for dry weather, we didn't ask for a heat wave! Fluids and shade will be our best friends this week

The last 2 days we have had 11 wonderful riders taking part on our 2 day novice course. For some they had absolutely no idea what to expect

This afternoon all 11 took part in a best turned out, followed by riding a dressage test that they got to practise yesterday and this morning

We are so proud of how well all the riders did. There were some really close scores with lots of placings only being 0.5% difference.

We hope everyone has enjoyed the days. The mission was to learn lots and have fun, something everyone confirmed they had done at the end!

Tomorrow sees our regular holiday hack day!

On Monday we received an email to say that our Instructor and manager of Little Gems Wellbeing Centre Hayley had been shortlisted as a finalist in the Ely Hero Awards 🥳

She has been invited to a formal dinner in September where the winners of each category will be announced

She would once again like to say a huge thank you to her nominee for taking the time to nominate her

On Monday morning, 18 children filled Lorraines garden with tents, belongings, riding gear, and a ton of other bits they probably didn't need.... full of energy and feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves, they listened to the briefing, went off in their 4 groups, and got straight into full on camp mode putting up tents and catching and grooming some very muddy horses and ponies!

Today, those 18 wonderful children showed their fellow team mates, their friends and family and their instructors what they've learned over the week

The great British weather wasn't on our side, the heavens quite literally poured for the whole day, but rain didn't stop play and the children took part in best turned out, Dressage and show jumping equitation

We couldn't of been prouder of how well they all did, for lots it was their first time doing camp and the whole camp experience, for others it was facing some of their fears from previous camps. All of them did so well.

We've never had so much rain on show day, and in the end resorted to drying out dressage sheets in a stable and recording the test on voice notes to be written down in the dry.

We hope everyone enjoyed camp as much as we did. We always say it's our biggest week of the year, this one definitely has been!

Day 4 of camp and not many pictures from today (in fact only the 1)

We can confirm that there are 18 tired children and 2 tired adults all heading off to their own beds tonight - it worked we knackered them out 🥳

We also have 18 very clean horses and ponies, who are ready for their best turned out in the morning. We are trying to work out if it'll be Winston, Diego, Smartie or Paddy who roll in poo the most before the morning!!!

Today saw all rides practice their dressage tests, all rides got jumping practice and got to practice related distances and all rides got a chance to clean their ponies, start plaiting and clean their Tack!

We can't wait for tomorrow, our grand finale of camp week. Where all our riders get to show their families what they have learned over the week - it's show day!
