Huge *belated* thank you!! We raised an incredible £260.87 for an incredible charity that provides all kinds of support to farmers. We had an amazing day. The sun was shining and the drinks were flowing, thanks for making it such fun. We can’t wait to see you all next year!!

Today Donna & Clare were let out of the reception to go on a workshop on antimicrobial resistance in bridging the divide between human and veterinary‘front of house’ professionals at the royal Welsh show. They also had time spend at the show to to enjoy what it offered.

The first cases of BTV-3 for 2025 have been confirmed on the 11th July & unfortunately they are quite close!!

There is one sheep in Oxfordshire that was confirmed positive following clinical signs (hot and painful feet, lethargy and reluctance to move) and also 2 cows which had no clinical signs but were tested on a pre-movement to be moved from Herefordshire to wales.

Stay vigilant and if you see any suspicious clinical signs please contact us, we have lots of vaccines in stock and we’re ready with the advice!

Yesterday we had an amazing first aid course to teach us all how to be top first aiders. It was extremely interesting & super important to know. Topped off by an amazing lunch supplied by Stapeley!! Hopefully we won’t have to use it but if we do, we’re be right on it 💪🏻

We covered CPR, using a defibrillator and how to stop choking - all useful!
