🐾 VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST – MATERNITY COVER FIXED TERM CONTRACT🐾

We’re looking for a friendly, caring and organised Veterinary Receptionist to join our lovely team at Malthouse Vets! 🐶🐱

If you’re a people person who enjoys being part of a close-knit team, loves animals and can provide a warm welcome to our clients (even on the busiest days!), we’d love to hear from you. ❤️

✨ The role: 21.5 hours per week over 3 days
• Tuesday: 8.30am–6.00pm
• Thursday: 8.30am–6.00pm
• Friday: 8.30am–1.00pm
• 1 in 5 Saturdays: 8.30am–12.00pm
• £13.45/h

As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play an important part in making sure every visit to Malthouse Vets is a positive one. Duties will include welcoming clients, answering calls and enquiries, booking appointments, taking payments and supporting our clinical team with the smooth running of the practice, infection control, dispensing and basic laboratory work.

🐾 We’re looking for someone who is:
❤️ Warm, friendly and approachable
📞 Confident communicating with clients both face-to-face and over the phone
📋 Organised and able to multitask
🐶 Passionate about providing excellent client and patient care
🤝 A team player who is happy to muck in and support colleagues
✨ Previous veterinary reception experience would be an advantage, but attitude and a genuine love of helping people and their pets are just as important and full training can be given

In return, you’ll become part of a small, supportive and friendly independent practice where everyone matters and your contribution is valued.
