🐾 A day in the life of Fran🐾

What a soggy day! ☔️

Last week was full of water play and sunshine.. Today was just as wet but the sun has hidden itself behind the clouds 😭

My first walk was very rainy! Duke the Pointer wasn’t bothered by it though and marched around the fields and local woodland, sniffing to his hearts content 💙

Next up was our spotty superstar Coco! I got her into the car and we travelled to the local fields where we bumped into two lovely doggo friends! She ran around for her hour having the best time playing chase! 💞

Third up was beautiful Bramble 💕 She was raring to go and enjoyed walking down the lane and across the fields, spotting all of the lively new lambs bouncing around together 🐑 Soon it was time to go home for a well earned treat and goodbye until tomorrow 🐾

Fourth was my OG Staffy boy Diesel. We went on our daily ramble around the woods and he sniffed everything in sight before heading back for good boy treats! 💙

My last walk of the day was young and handsome Russell 🐾 We headed out the door for a big walk around the local playing fields. He loved having a jog and a big sniff (like everyone else today it seems!) 😂 before heading home for a well earned snooze 💤

🐾 A Day in the Life of Ellis 🐾

My first walk was with Nellie and Molly They were both so excited even though the weather was a bit gloomy, they didn’t care!!

Next up was Brinkley, Bear, Archie, Alfie, Henry, Otis and the Birthday Boy Rolo. With all of them it was a busy walk. They were all happy to be out, and the sunshine definitely made them a bit more playful. Alfie and Rolo enjoyed playing with the ball and Brinks and Henry enjoyed chasing one another!

My last walk was with Bonkers, Arlo, Roo, Fin, Otis and Kali. Bonkers, Kali and Roo had lots of energy, while Otis and Arlo stayed calmer. Arlo kept moving between everyone as we walked, asking for lots of cuddles. 🥰

By the end of the day I was a bit worn out, but it was a good day and the dogs had clearly enjoyed their walks. 💞

🐾A day in the life of Elliott🐾

I started off my day with Ella for our first walk we went to Morton Stanley. We had a nice walk around the park while working on her reactivity on the lead and having plenty of sniffs.

We then moved on to our walk with Lexi for our half an hour walk into the woods and she had loads of sniffs we then headed back for loads of belly rubs (belly rub tax).

My 3rd walk was with the amazing chase who never fails to make me smile. I took him for a walk around the lake where he made some new friends and his recall is coming along slowly.

We then moved on to a pop in with the absolute cute Oslo who is a GSD puppy and we had a really fun play in the garden. Lots of cuddles needed

Then we had our golden oldie Bertie we went for a nice slow walk around Astwood Bank near to his home.

Bailey was my 6th walk of the day and we had a nice slow walk around webheath and he had lots of bum scratches.

Rocco was my last walk of the day we walk through the woods in webheath and he loves to chase the ball and have a good sniff. He loves a good belly rub and cuddle.

🐾 Looking for a Loving Home Together 🐾

We are looking for a wonderful forever home for two beautiful female kittens – Darwin is black and semi long haired, she is a week or so older and came to us as she was unwanted after being swapped for drugs 💔 and Hope who was also unwanted after being initially given away at 4 weeks old 😭. As soon as they both arrived it was obvious Hope was in serious need of some kitten company after being separated from her family so young so we put the girls together and they haven’t stopped playing since! They are very close and we'd love for them to stay together, so they will only be rehomed as a pair.

Both kittens are friendly, playful, and full of character. They enjoy chasing toys, exploring their surroundings, and curling up for a snooze after a busy day of kitten adventures.

We are looking for a family home for them where they will receive the time, care, and attention they deserve.

This week we recieved the devastating news that our beautiful Woody went over rainbow bridge 🌈.

We are absolutely heartbroken and it’s come as a complete shock to us all, Woody was such a wonderful boy, so chill and playful and would plod around the fields with me like a little shadow until I tried to take a picture - then he would run away from me like a puppy! Considering he was the most handsome boy he never wanted his picture taken 😂

Our thoughts have been with his family this week, we are so sorry for your loss 💔 run free our beautiful boy xx

🐾 A day in the life of Connie 🐾

Happy Thursday everybody! I hope you’ve all been able to stay cool in the heat this week ☀️☀️

I started off my first walk early this morning to make sure that our walk was made comfortable for everyone! Olive and Barkley stayed near as we took a lovely stroll while Saber, Ozzy and Bruce zoomed after each other, exploring the new friendship that had developed in a walk. We stopped off at a pond and made sure the all dip our toes in (myself included) and stayed for as long as we needed before heading back to the van and having a big drink 💦🐶☀️

I then continued my day with my adorable second walk of Ted, Marley, Chichi and Simba! Again we made sure that all puppies had a massive splash in the water, making the walk for of a pool party than an actual walk 😂 Ted and chichi were joined by the hip exploring in the shade while Marley stayed close for cuddles💕🐾 Simba became the definition of waterpup by spending the majority of The walk swimming 💦

I said goodbye to all of my pals and welcomed the pups on my last walks of the day; Mac, Dave and Otto ! We all got straight into the water before enjoying a nice chilled out stroll to finish off the day💕🐶

🐾 Tick Season! 🐾

We're resharing a recent Wisdom Wednesday as we've had so many tick cases recently! Did you know, not all flea prevention tablets or treatments you may give your dog protect against ticks? Only certain treatments do, so we encourage you to take a look at yours in case!

It's that time of year again, tick season is upon us! Ticks are tiny, blood-sucking parasites that can carry serious diseases like Lyme disease, which can affect both dogs and humans. As the weather warms up, ticks become more active, especially in grassy or wooded areas.

🐾 What to do if your dog gets a tick 🐾

🐾 Stay calm – Ticks can attach quickly but removing them quickly is key.

🐾 Use proper tools – A tick removal tool or fine-tipped tweezers work best. Grasp the tick close to your dog’s skin and pull it out steadily without twisting.

🐾 Clean the area – After removal, clean the bite area with antiseptic and monitor your dog for any signs of illness.

🐾 How to avoid ticks 🐾

🐾 Stick to well-maintained trails when walking.

🐾 Use tick prevention treatments, like topical solutions, collars, or sprays.

🐾 Check your dog for ticks after every walk, especially in their ears, underarms, and between toes.

🐾 Keep your garden tick-free by mowing grass regularly and removing leaves.

Ticks can be a nuisance, but with a little awareness and care, we can keep our furry friends safe this season! 🐕🌿

🐾 A day in the life of Chloe 🐾

What a difference an early start makes ! Glorious day but the pooches definitely appreciated the shaded woods and water play!

I started my day with my lovely group of 8 which included Lillie, Chloe, Daisy, Indie, Apollo, Paddy, Islay and Ozzy. They had a fabulous time springing through the long grass and cooling off in the ford for good measure 😎

Next up we had Jade, Jola, Woody, Jett, Beau and Tuco who were pretty much swimming for the entirety of their walk which was wonderful. It's so nice to see them still being able to enjoy themselves.

Thank you to all my clients who understand how difficult it is in these conditions and have been so understanding we really appreciate it. I hope everyone managed to enjoy their day as much as I did!
