She’s a darling ❤️

1st LESSON FOUNDATIONS

Meet Sox The labradoodle. Zero / hit n’ miss recall when there’s other dogs around. 🐕💨

Quiet corner, isolated playing field, no distractions, lots of high yeild treats / games BUT with the security of a 30m long line just in case someone or something more interesting than me, the squeeky or the chicken pops up.

Next session will be in a busier spot with more dogs, albeit still slightly offside in a quiet corner. 🌲🤫

Stay tuned to see if we can get her off lead around other dogs / squirells / people etc.

Rescue
10 month old Bonnie 🐶

Heelwork / loose lead is nailed… Now onto recall work.

After this excercise the line will come off, still in a controlled setting, followed by work outside in the park with the line back on, if the excercise is still successful around distractions the line will come off.

If you practice daily you should have bombproof recall within a week or two. 🙂
