There is a full range of dry goods for all aspects of the aquatic trade from all the major suppliers. We have a large range of aquariums for sale and as we are completely independent we sell from many manufacturers. We have weekly deliveries of fresh aquatic plants so that you have a fresh choice every week.

Plenty of plants from huge to dainty, carpeting, centrepiece specimens, Invitro, floating, pots and bunches.

Our tropical fish delivery has brought Siamese Algae eaters, Otocinclus, Japonica shrimp and a good selection of beautiful Betta including Plakats, Halfmoon and Regular.
Lots of choices of livebearers including Sailfin Molly, Rummy Nose Guppy and a wide variety of Platties. Red Parrot Cichlid, Geophagus Surinamensis, Pigmy Corydoras and Neon Red Rainbows.

Hi everyone!
We have a newly designed aquascape this week! The marble Ciano 60 (100L) has been rescaped by Hayley. She has created a simple aquascape that can easily be achieved using rootwood, plant substrate, CO2 and plants that are readily available in store.

If you want to create something like this yourself in any size aquarium, come in and speak to us!

This weekend we are filled to the roof with lots of fantastic plants. Huge specimens of Echinodorus mother plants, potted and bunched. We’ve practically run out of space!
Pots of Cryptocoryne, Anubias, Bucephalandra, Pogostemon, lots of carpeting options including Monte Carlo and Lilaeopsis

Our Favourite time of the year….. when it’s totally tropical 🌴! For once it’s cooler inside the shop and the fish love the warmth summer brings.
We have a wonderful choice of fish and plants this week for all of you….
Coldwater and Temperate fish include Orange Medaka, chunky Black Garra, Panda Garra and Weather loaches. Lots of larger sized Fancy Goldfish, Ryukins, Ranchu and Black Moors. Burmese Spot Danio, White Cloud Minnows in silver and gold. An assorted mix of Temperate Corydoras and Snails to help with excess food and algae.

Tropical fish of note include L204 Flash Plec, Rummy Nose and Cardinal Tetra, L201 Orinoco Plec, L066 King Tiger, Indonesian Flying Fox, huge Red Laser Corydoras as well as many other varieties of catfish. Fireline Danio, Koi Swordtails, Zebra Otocinclus and a very bonded pair of adult Red Tiger Oscars.

Ponds are fully stocked with a good choice of easy care pond fish including Koi, Goldfish, Sarassa Comets and Shubunkins. Lots of pond marginals, water lilies and floating options too.

Hello All, quick update this week. We have had delivery after delivery this week of dry goods and livestock and we are full to the brim!
It’s been a bit mad this week to get you all loads of pictures but with the ‘Masters of the Universe‘ film out this week we thought we would join in the fun and get some Castle Grayskull‘s in…..(picture below!)

Quick fish update
New arrivals Salt, Tropical and Coldwater fish include

Red Coral Goby, Midas Blenny, Picasso Trigger, Foxface, Decorator Crab, Fire and Cleaner Shrimp. Many more….

Danio auropurpureus, Brachychramdia imitator, Threadfin Acara, Fire Ant Tetra and more XL Armoured Shrimp. Plenty more, too many to list!

Black Garra, Sewelia lineolata are the top picks in coldwater today!

Hi All
Another sunny weekend for us all….

Our pond marginals and water lilies are in bloom and the ponds are full with super friendly Ghost Koi, Shubunkin, Canary Goldfish and Mixed Orfe. All ready to go to their new pond homes!

Inside our cold water fancies are also enjoying the warmth Pearlscales, Ranchu, Redcaps, some really big Calico and Tamasaba Ryukins too.
Plenty of smaller fish too if you have smaller cold water aquariums.

If you like unusual Tetra we have some very special choices
Blueberry, Copei, Black Arrow Royal, Black Emperors ( looking lovely! ), Rummy Nose and all the other usual suspects!

Reed Fish, Whiptails, very nicely striped Royal Plec and massive armoured shrimp (selling fast)

Corydoras are plentiful. Really easy and friendly
Seussi, Similis, Brevirostris, Panda, huge Sterbai and Leopardus
Ask us to show you them all! They are dotted all round the shop.

Tropical plants and pond oxygenators including Hornwort. Lots of pot choices and generously filled bunches here for you.

Hello All………This beautiful Bank Holiday Weekend we have lots of fish, plants, pond marginals and fabulous Water Lilies. Loads to choose from and most of the lilies are in bud. A wide choice of pond oxygenators and floating lettuce too! We have all you need to transform your garden pond into a show winner!
Indoors our latest delivery of plants has bought some really impressive Anubias on terracotta pipes, caves and urns. Huge pieces of Spider wood planted up and we have the much sought after Bolbitis heudeloti in pots. Invitro plants include Cryptocoryne Spiralis Tiger, Limnophlia Vietnam, Monte Carlo, Marselia and many more. Mosses and bunches plants are hugely varied. There is definitely something for everyone here this weekend. We are open 10-5 all weekend and happy to help you with all your fish keeping needs.

Hi All

Just wanted to update you all on our latest arrivals….
We have had a few really unusual arrivals
Rope Fish, Arden Hill Trout, Zebra Otocinclus, Blueberry Tetra, Large Galaxy Rasbora, Candy cane Bentosi Tetra and chunky Kuhli Loach.
Lots of snails including Assasins. Bamboo, Crystal and Super Cherry Shrimp.
The ponds are full of fish all good to go outside, Koi, Ghost koi, Larger sized Goldfish, Canary and Shubunkins too.
Pond Marginal plants are growing well as are the Water Lilies. We still have Trap door and Stagnalis snails available in handy carry away tubs of 10. Perfect for grazing the algae on pond sides.
