According to my mum, my love for animals was clear from day one! ❤️ Growing up, we shared our home with dogs and cats — each one bringing their own fun, love, and a few muddy paw prints along the way. It all started with my two beauti

ful Persians, Mowgli and Baloo, who were with me for 16 wonderful years. Then came along cheeky little Alfie, who stayed by my side until 2021. These days it’s just me and my dear Molly, who I adopted while volunteering at adog rescue centre in Spain back in 2012. She’s almost 17 now and spends most of her days snoozing. During my 10 years volunteering in Spain, I fostered many rescue dogs and helped them find their forever homes. I have a soft spot (and lots of experience) for caring for traumatised or nervous animals who need extra patience, love, and understanding. 💕

Boris is such a sensitive lad, and Rocky couldn't have been less like his name—he's an absolute sweetheart! 😸 He also officially wins the award for the most vocal cat I've ever met. It was a pleasure spending time with these two!

Spent a week hanging out with this handsome boy Ralph. He was only 7 months and weighted 40kg!!

The biggest challenge? Keeping him cool in this heat. Between fans, closed curtains, and my best impression of an air-conditioning unit, we all survived the heatwave. Ralph, of course, took his supervising duties very seriously... from the comfort of the coolest spot in the house. 😂❤️

I've just had a booking cancelled for 14–28 August and now find myself available during this time. Sadly, my lovely client has had to cancel her well deserved holiday due to some unexpected health issues, and I wish her a speedy recovery. ❤️

A challenging week with a healthy dose of canine family drama!

Waffle is a Collie/Staffy/Shar-Pei cross who somehow ended up looking like a slim Labrador. Genetics clearly had a meeting and decided to keep us all guessing!

One of this week's adventures involved Waffle meeting her sister Luna, who lives with their Dad (the Collie in the origiinal mix) Unfortunately, the reunion wasn't quite the heartwarming family movie moment we'd hoped for. Waffle's Dad wasn't exactly rolling out the red carpet and made it very clear that his other daughter, Luna was under his protection.

To be fair, he was probably just doing his job as Head of Security and Chief Protector of Waffle's little sister. 🚨🐶

Despite the family politics, Waffle took everything in her stride. It was fun helping her navigate the ups, downs, and occasional soap-opera moments of dog life.

Well done, Waffle—you've earned a well-deserved nap and probably your own reality TV series. ❤️
