Today our BHS changing lives students found Lesley Perry’s alphabet training a great incentive and really enjoyed the session's structure, which gave them clear direction and confidence. It also worked perfectly as a team-building session; they loved getting active and working together to act out the letter A, which was our main focus today and will remain our anchor for the rest of the week.

🌟 Changing Lives Through Horses (CLTH) ProgrammeThis alternative education programme is uniquely designed for students who thrive outside a traditional classroom environment. By replacing desks and whiteboards with stables and horses, it provides a hands-on, practical learning style that unlocks potential in young people who may struggle to engage with mainstream education. How the Programme Benefits Students:Hands-On Learning: Abstract concepts like teamwork and responsibility become physical tasks, perfectly suited for tactile learners who struggle to sit at a desk.Immediate Feedback: Horses react honestly and instantly to a student’s body language, teaching self-awareness and emotional regulation without verbal criticism.Confidence & Self-Belief: Mastering the care of a large animal builds immense self-esteem, providing a calm, non-judgmental space free from academic pressure.Core Life Skills: The structured Achievers (ages 5–11) and Explorers (ages 11–25) frameworks focus on building communication, perseverance, relationships, and personal responsibility.📅 Weekly Term Timetable🏫
