We are looking for a nurse to join our amazing expanding team at The Vet Whitehaven.
We currently have 9 qualified RVNs, 2 SVNs and an ANA. We are looking for someone who believes in our Core Values of Compassion, Trust & Community, who has a positive attitude, excellent patient and client care, clear and polite communication skills.
We are an independent, female owned small animal veterinary practice. We practise care and compassion, not just towards our patients and clients, but towards our colleagues too. As we grow we are building trust within our local community and want our team to help us continue with this.

• We offer a competitive salary(starting at £28,000 for FT (37 hours) plus enhancements for Out Of Hours). We are very flexible and try to work around our team’s commitments and can support part time work.

• We do our own Out of Hours and inpatient care. Currently we have 6 vets. The full-time nurse rota involves one night on call per week and one weekend in 8 with paid time off in lieu. Weekend opening hours are 9am-1pm Saturday and 10am-12 noon Sunday.
• Driving licence required.

We’ve MOVED!!!

We are so excited to open the doors to you all tomorrow!

Horses will still be seen at the old site until the weather plays ball for our concreting!

SEMEN STORAGE UPDATE

With the forthcoming closure of West Kington Stud at Church Farm, we are delighted to confirm that B&W Equine Vets will be taking over our semen storage service. All stored semen stock will be safely relocated to their Willesley facility, unless requested otherwise and all clients will be contacted shortly with the following options:

- Transfer to B&W Equine Vets
- Move to another facility
- Request that semen is destroyed, if no longer needed

B&W will also be in touch with full details, along with their terms & conditions. In the meantime, please rest assured that all semen remains securely stored at West Kington.

** B&W Equine Vets will also be offering mare AI and stallion services following the closure **
