Jumping into the bank holiday weekend like…
As exciting banks hols can be for most of us😝, especially with the heatwave forecast🥵, It’s important to take your dogs into consideration🐶.
Here are a few tips for you and your dogs in the heatwave:
☀️Early morning or late evenings walks if cool enough
☀️Shady or woodland walking locations
☀️Bring water on all your walks, but be careful that your dog doesn’t drink too much at once, as this can cause bloat, which is fatal⚠️
☀️Scentwork games including: scatter feeding meals on the grass, find it or search for treats or kongs games
☀️DIY sprats tubs: plastic container, water and sprats, then pop in the freezer
☀️Kong or licki mats: doggy peanut butter, sprats, blueberries
☀️Cool mats, collars, fans
☀️keep playing to a minimum
☀️Have fun plans with your pals at the pub? Leave your dog at home!
