When I joined Jubilee 18 months ago, I had a single aim (and still do); to provide the best possible veterinary care to all animals whether they have fur, scales, feathers or shells.

I have recently returned from the London Vet Show where I have attended lectures focusing on enhancing poultry, small mammal & exotic animal medicine and clinical care.

I’m delighted to say we have purchased a brand-new nebuliser and incubator to ensure we continue to provide the best supportive care for our respiratory and surgical cases.

I love my job and have the best clients and patients. We are lucky to be able to see and treat so many of your wonderful exotics pets from all over Ireland.

⭐️ Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2025! ⭐️

We can hardly believe we are saying this, but this will be the 10th year of our annual Christmas shoebox appeal!

This year we are supporting Play For Strays who provides a service to any no-kill animal shelter, by donating toys, food, treats and other essential items.

Play For Strays also works alongside charitable groups that assist the homeless community by providing coats, harnesses, toys, and food to their beloved animals.

🎁 If you would like to get involved, we are welcoming donations right through to Saturday 20th December 🎁

None of this would be possible without the kindness of our clients, and friends of the practice.

⭐️ Did you know we have our very own CT scanner here at Jubilee? ⭐️

We invested in this advanced technology a few years ago and it has revolutionised the way we diagnose disease with extraordinary depth and detail.

The CT scanner helps us to;

✅ Diagnose illness sooner
✅ Diagnose disease better
✅ Perform more complicated surgery because of the refined information this technology gives

Traditional x-rays are useful for for two dimensional images like leg bones, however they have limitations when x-raying soft tissue such as lungs, or complicated structures like the skull.

Swipe to see the difference between a skull x-ray and a skull CT - the depth of information on the CT version is incredible!
