❌ CLINIC UPDATE ❌

We would like to thank you once again for your patience and understanding while we remain temporarily closed due to the emergency works at our premises.

Although our clinic has not yet reopened, we are continuing to see clients without interruption by holding consultations at Garden Lodge, Holywood and Stormont.

If you need to arrange, change, or discuss an appointment, please get in touch with our team as normal. We will be happy to find a suitable appointment at one of our temporary consultation locations.

We appreciate your continued patience and support during this difficult time. We will keep you updated on our progress and let you know as soon as we have a confirmed reopening date.

📢 Clinic Update

Unfortunately, we are still unable to return to our Cedarmount Clinic at this time.

In the meantime, consultations and procedures are continuing to run from our sister practices, Garden Lodge Holywood and Garden Lodge Stormont, to ensure we can continue providing care for your pets.

Repeat prescriptions and food orders can be collected from Rathgael Vets after you have been notified that they are ready.

On behalf of our entire team, we would like to sincerely thank all of our clients for their patience, understanding, and support during this period. We appreciate the inconvenience this has caused and are grateful for your continued loyalty.

We are hopeful that we will be back in the Cedarmount Clinic in the coming weeks; however, at present, we do not have a confirmed return date. We will continue to keep you updated as soon as we have further information.

Thank you again for your understanding and support.

Cedarmount Closure Update, Monday 15th June.

Unfortunately our building at 67 Bryansburn Road remains closed this week. We are trying to push our contractors as much as we can to get some progress and more information but unfortunately it is largely out of our hands.

Our staff are all working out of our other local practices, Rathgael Vets, Garden Lodge in Holywood and Stormont Vets.

If you contact our normal phone number or email you will be transferred to members of staff you will know from Cedarmount.

Consults will be at Holywood or Stormont with our usual vets. We will contact you if you have a pre-booked appointment to see which site suits best.

You can order medication normally, leave us a voice note or email. The majority of these will be made up for collection from Rathgael Vets, it just might take a little longer than normal as we organise deliveries and supplies.

We can still do a small number of procedures, please let us know and we will do our best to get then organised

Saturday morning will be for emergencies only at Rathgael Vets.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We know it is incredibly frustrating for you, it is for our staff too.

Thank you for everyone’s patience and understanding while we are having to cope with our emergency move out of Cedarmount’s site at Bryansburn Road.

It has been an extremely challenging week but our staff are doing a fantastic job at reorganising everyone and managing to get medicines, food and appointments to everyone who needs it.

All the staff at Rathgael, Garden Lodge and Stormont Vets have been fantastic too, putting up with us coming into their practices at such short notice.

We haven’t had any updates yet on when we will get back in, that is entirely up to our facilities team, but we will keep everyone informed. For the rest of this week and next week we have to keep managing the best we can.

On Saturday we can only see emergency cases, booked by appointment, and we will be at Rathgael Vets.

There are some things you can do to help.

✔️Please only book appointments by phone or email a request. There could be a delay with the phones as the lines go through to the other practices, but we will answer the calls. Call 02891271364, or email [email protected]

❌ Please do not book online appointments directly with the other clinics. Our diaries and staff are completely separate so if you book a Cedarmount appointment with them they will not know anything about your pet and it will take up more staff time calling you back to change it.

❌ We cannot use our normal online booking facility because we have to personally check everyone’s appointment and work on a day to day basis depending on which staff can work at which clinic and which clinic suits each client.

❌ Our automated text reminders haven’t been updated yet to say which practice your appointment is at.

✔️ We will text or call people when changing appointments but please remember which clinic you are booked in to.

✔️ Please give us a bit of extra time to get repeat prescriptions and food organised. The other clinics don’t always have your medication, or food, in stock so we are having to work around that too.

Thanks again for your support and understanding.

From the Cedarmount Team.

❌ TEMPORARY CLINIC CLOSURE ❌

Practice Closure Notice starting immediately (09/06/2026)

Please be advised that our practice will be closed for approximately the next two weeks due to emergency maintenance works.
During this period, services will continue to be provided from our sister practices at Garden Lodge Holywood and Garden Lodge Stormont. Patients may continue to contact us using our usual telephone number, and our team will direct calls accordingly and assist in arranging appointments at the most appropriate location.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation at this time.

Have a great Bank Holiday everyone!

The weather looks amazing but please look after your pets! They can get overheated very easily and it can be a life threatening emergency.

Keep them cool, especially if they are vulnerable with breathing or heart conditions, don’t leave them in enclosed spaces, especially cars.

If they are getting too hot, cool them down with lots of cold water as soon as you can and contact Vets Now (028 90651729) if you are at all concerned.
