Very pleasing day today to see one of our young male dogs BROCKLINTON MONTY start his new life journey off to the USA

Billy’s bitch Brocklinton Lucy of Brockrise (Fran)
is showing great potential she is out of Brocklinton Gypsy
Gypsy is full sister to FTW Brocklinton Aero of Crawickwater and half sister to FTCH Kentwone Columbine of Leacaz
All being out of Brocklinton Biddy
Fran has now been confirmed in pup to FTCH Kentwone Columbine of Leacaz (Jed )
This mating was planned and discussed at length between Me ; Billy and Lee
Long before Lee proved to the world what a great dog Jed is
Lee had a very high opinion of this dog from a very young age
Jed has achieved his 6 open steak wins at only just over 3 1/2 years old and 5 of those 2 day open steak wins were off the bounce last season
The reason Lee ran him this way was to prove the point of just how good Jed was even though he is a Pra carrier and to encourage true competitors to use him on some of their bi***es .Which I am pleased to see some of the top men and women are using him .In truth the only reason you wouldn’t use him would be financial in that you would have to get the litter tested .
The serious competitors however will improve their dogs and breed the Pra gen out
for me and Billy this mating was a no brainier if Fran came up to expectations
After 54 years of competing with dogs of different breeds I know how hard it is to breed a real good one and the true test of a dog IS in the field and not in the testing Lab
one thing is for sure JED WILL go down in History as one of the greatest dogs EVER

Good news this week for Brocklinton (me) and Brockrise kennels (Billy )

Both our bi***es are confirmed in pup
After keeping our own line of labs now for 8 year from our foundation Bitch
Craig Maddie Winifred of Brocklinton she being the full sister to
FTCH Craigmaddie Mufasa of Bishopbrae
All of our dogs have been very successful in our picking up team and produced some very high quality dogs
Now Billy wants go that step further and trial his Labs as well as his Spaniels .We are very satisfied with the foundation of these dogs for him to succeed along with the help and guidance off his pals 🤞

Breeze my bitch has had 3 seasons on the picking up team and works to a very high standard .A big plus for Breeze is she is the full sister to FTCH Kentowne Columbine of Leacaz (Jed)
Jed and Breeze were bred with the joint efforts of Billy and John
And are out of the pairing of Brocklinton Biddy (Biddy is out of Craigmaddie Winifred of Brocklinton X FTCH and IGL CHAMPIONSHIP WINNER Harperrig Breac

Jed and Breeze are from a very strong producing dam line namely

A very impressive high drive dog that also comes from a strong Dam line

FTCh Brocklinton Bertie is a four-time Open Stake winner and one of the last remaining FTCh Buccleuch Pepper sons at stud. He carries the bloodlines of one of the most successful producing bitch lines of the last decade, making him a valuable asset to any serious breeding program.

Billy got the win with his home bred bitch Brockrise Lexie today at the kennel club novice trial held at Wentworth estate.
Lexie still just a youngster at 19 month old but has been consistent all season with a 3rd two 2nds and now a win 🥇
