I currently live with three gorgeous Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens, a Griffon rescued from Spain, and a new addition to our pack, a Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen. One of my dogs adores being groomed (the others just tolerate it!) and that led me into dog grooming. I have shown 3 of my PBGVs at Crufts, always grooming them myself, and completed and passed my Level 2 City and Guilds in dog grooming.

Myself and my colleagues are trained in all types of dog grooming and offer this in a lovely calm environment. We will look after your dog like it is one of my own. Full grooms from £35, bath only from £20, all dependant upon size and coat type of dog.

Katie did this groom on Dora the Standard Poodle today. Doesn’t she look stunning!! As a collective, we always aim to produce wonderful grooms to the best of our abilities, and Katie works hard to perfect her craft - and she has absolutely smashed it today! I’m really proud of all of our team (I hope I tell them this enough!).

After a couple of puppy visits, Percy had his first full groom with us today. What a star he was!! He isn’t keen on having his head dried, or keeping it still 😂 but with a little patience we got there in the end!!

We all fell in love with the scrumptious Maiya today. She’s a 12 week old standard wire haired Dachshund and visited us for a nail trim and a harness fitting. Even at 12 weeks old we can fit a dog with a Perfect Fit harness, they grow with your dog, come in 3 separate pieces in different sizes, and are adjustable in at least 3 places (often in 5 places depending on the size your dog needs). As your dog grows they made need 1 or 2 pieces in a larger size (not a full harness) but that’s the beauty of Perfect Fit, you can buy individual pieces too - and right here at Dog Hairs!
