🔥Hot surfaces!🔥

Did you know that not all surfaces heat up equally in the summer?

University research shows that artificial grass, running tracks, and Asphalt can reach over 50°C, hot enough to burn your dog's paws in minutes.

✅ Natural grass stayed the coolest, making it the safest choice.
❌ Asphalt and running tracks? Best to avoid in the heat.

Top tip: Stick to walks before 8am or after 8pm when it's cooler, and always check the ground with your hand first!

We have been made aware from the Earl of Harrington Fishing club and Derby parks team that there has been a suspected sighting of what could be blue green algae in the lake. This is being reported at this time to the Environmental agency. This is a naturally occuring toxin but can cause tummy troubles to humans if consumed and poisionous to dogs. Please do not let your dogs in the water. We will update if it is confirmed or not from EA, thanks.
