I've had a couple of people make enquiries for dates recently, then when they were told that food was not included I didn't hear from them again.
I only have a small cattery, my loyal customers know that this means that their cats get the best care and attention and are more than happy to bring the food they know their cats enjoy.
One of the people who enquired even asked what food would be provided, so they cared enough to ask what their cat was being fed, but not enough to want their cat to have their usual food.
What happens if your cat doesn't like or eat the food i may provide I wonder ? ..do you know that DEFRA states that if a cat is inappetant for more that 48 hours it must be referred to a vet ?
I'm not sure what better value you can receive for £22 these days ..24 hour care, full insurance, electricity, water, heating , plus added love and attention, not to mention free grooming.
I bought two coffees and 2 pieces of cake which cost me £15 recently! But some people baulk at paying £22 for someone to take on the responsibility of caring for their cat!
If I had 30 or 40 pens , I would make a good enough living to maybe charge less and buy food in bulk and maybe not worry whether the cats liked it or not ..but that's not what Lilac Tree is about as my regular clients realise.
I am seriously considering throwing in the towel at this point..its just too hard sometimes 😪
