Some of the items to look out for include battenburg, plums, pup cakes, apple juice, sloe gin, local honey, butter, damson jam, samosas, artisan breads scotch eggs, venison mince and more

4th Sunday of the month means West Malling Farmers Market is back this Sunday 23rd August!

Join us on the High Street from 9.30am–1.30pm for a lovely morning of local food, drink and craft.

We’ll have fresh fish, artisan breads & cheeses, seasonal fruit & veg, cider, local wine, game and meats, roasted coffee, marinades, small‑batch gins and plenty more to explore.

There’s also a mobile sharpening service for garden tools, scissors and kitchen equipment plus the High Street shops and local businesses will be open too.

🚜 The Weald of Kent Ploughing Match returns on Saturday 12th September 2026 and this year we’re celebrating our 80th anniversary!

Secure your advance tickets now for a true country day out at Hengherst Farm, Shadoxhurst Road, Woodchurch, Ashford, TN26 3PP.

Ploughing is our main event, with 10 modern & vintage classes plus a plough off for all winners, horse ploughing demo, have-a-go ploughing and a free to enter Novice Class for first-timers. Alongside the ploughing there’s something for everyone throughout the day:

A really big thank you to everyone — stallholders and all our new and returning customers — for visiting the July West Malling Farmers Market. It was wonderful to welcome so many new faces, and your ongoing support means a lot to all our stallholders.

The next West Malling Farmers Market takes place on Sunday 23rd August.
