‼️Important Update for Pet Travel to the EU‼️

We want to make sure none of our clients get caught out by recent government changes that could disrupt your travel plans with your pets.

From ❗️22 April 2026❗️, new rules mean that EU Pet Passports held by GB residents are NO LONGER VALID for travel from Great Britain to the EU, even if they were issued before this date.

What does this mean for you?❗️
If you’re travelling to the EU with your dog, cat, or ferret, you will now need an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) issued by an Official Veterinarian before you travel.

We know there’s been a lot of discussion in the media around veterinary costs, so we want to be completely transparent:
‼️This is not a change set by veterinary practices.‼️
These are GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS, and we are sharing this information to help you avoid unexpected issues at borders or missed holidays.

If you’re planning a trip, we strongly recommend getting in touch with us well in advance so we can guide you through the process and timings for obtaining an AHC.

Wow February is finally here after a very busy January filled with doggos enjoying fire gazing, cafe visits, winter walks, very wet walks, sofa snoozing, cushion peeping, lots of cuddles and visits to some ‘local beverage establishments’ 🤪….
