An extra 1,000 votes because of your nominations! We're now in 17th place! Only 7 more to go to get into the top 10! 17 to get first place! It would be so helpful for any amount but the more we can win the better! Please keep voting for us!
Our sweet Rodgerina needed emergency surgery to fix her prolapse. This was her second purse-string suture surgery, and thankfully she’s now back home recovering with us. 💖
Unfortunately, this condition could return, and if it does, she may need a more complex and costly surgery in the future. We’re keeping everything crossed that won’t happen, but we’re committed to making sure she gets whatever care she needs to stay happy and healthy.
This most recent emergency bill came to £291.01, which has been a big unexpected hit for us. We would be so grateful for any donations, no matter how small even £1 or 50p truly helps and means the world to us.
Rodgerina is such a fighter, and your kindness will go directly toward her care and recovery. Thank you so much for reading, sharing, and supporting her. ❤️
🚨 EMERGENCY – BABY RODGERINA NEEDS US RIGHT NOW! 🚨
We’ve just rushed our new girl Rodgerina to the vets with an anal prolapse. 💔 This poor baby was taken to the vets at only 12 weeks old to be euthanized because of this very issue. Thankfully, those vets refused to give up on her and contacted KRB for help. Our friends at Kitty Rescue Bury kindly covered her first surgery, and since then, she’s been doing so well… until now.
In the last half hour, her prolapse has come out again, and it’s life-threatening. This cannot wait 24 hours she needs emergency treatment today to survive. Rodgerina is just a baby, and she deserves the chance to live a full, happy life. 💔
We’ve already had so many emergency cases this month so many innocent cats abandoned or left to suffer and it’s honestly heartbreaking. 💔 The rescue world feels like it’s on fire right now, but we refuse to turn our backs.
🙏 Please, if you can, help us help Rodgerina. Every donation, every share, every prayer means the world right now. I’m just waiting for the estimate for her surgery if our usual vets can’t take her, I’ll be finding another immediately. She needs this TODAY.
Once I have the estimate, I’ll post a GoFundMe link, but in the meantime please send your love, prayers, and positive thoughts for our brave little girl. 💕
🐾 Thank you all for standing by us and for caring about these precious lives. We couldn’t do this without you. 🐾

We love it when we get updates of our rehomes and we LOVE pairing our cats to suitable homes where we make sure as much as possible that the individual cat will suit the home and vice versa!

🐾 We Need a Little Help for the Littlest Paws 🐾
Kitten season is in full swing and our tiny rescues are keeping us very busy! We currently have a lot of hungry tummies and poorly babies who need a little extra TLC.
We are running low on some essentials and would be so grateful for donations of:
✨ Kitten food (wet & dry)
✨ Blue roll / paper towels
✨ Probiotics – preferably FortiFlora for sensitive little bellies
Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference to the kittens in our care. 💗

Hewwo!! My names Spice and the slaves here say that I truly live up to my name... So I was screaming at them today to feed me... NOW!! BUT what I came here to ask you all is if you'd fancy either taking me home... (I know no one wants me because i'm a scaredy cat) or if people could vote for my slaves!!
I know I might tell them off but I let them stroke me today, just to say thank you for not leaving me on a very busy main road on a construction site... but they got a bit excited telling me about the voting so obviously I had to tell them I had enough of listening to their voices.... theyre not that bad here though I guess! They feed me on tap and these things in my unit are so so soft! Never felt anything like it!
Anyway... What I came here to shout at you people was, please could you vote for my slaves? They said we're coming into the time of year where donations slow down but demand gets higher... leaving them in a bit of a pawdiciment!
BUT this is completely free to do!! It only takes two minutes, about the same amount of time it takes the slaves to give me my breakfast... but if you do donate through mygivingcircle it adds extra votes and they get your pennies too!! WIN WIN!!
So virtual slaves... give the slaves here a boost and get sharing this post, voting and tagging all the other slaves in the world who wants to help my personal slaves!!
🌸 REVEL & CANDY — STILL WAITING FOR THEIR HAPPY EVER AFTER 🌸
We honestly don’t understand how these two beautiful girls haven’t had a single enquiry… 💔
All the kittens have been snapped up, but Revel and Candy who’ve only ever known the streets are still waiting for someone to see them.
They’ve been through so much, and yet they are so gentle. They’re fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, flea and worm treated and slowly, with patience and love, they’re learning that people can be kind. 🐾
Revel is the braver of the two, and Candy follows her lead they’re both blossoming more every day. They’ve never shown an ounce of nastiness, just quiet curiosity and hope. ✨
Revel does have a little ongoing issue sometimes, when she gets stressed, she can develop cystitis. It’s not an infection, just something she lives with. She’s currently on Cystaid, which costs around £15 a month to keep her comfortable, and if she ever has a flare-up, an anti-inflammatory usually settles it quickly.
Because of this, people keep passing them by. And it’s breaking our hearts. 💔
They are only around 1–3 years old still so young, still so full of potential and they deserve a home of their own. A quiet, patient home where they can finally feel safe, loved, and wanted.
Please, if you have room in your heart and your home for two gentle souls who just need a chance get in touch. Help us give Revel and Candy the future they deserve. 🏡💗
Even a share could change their lives.
Home checks and small donation required to secure their furrever ❤️

‘To support people to develop the skills, and the desire, to return to education and/or employment’
We passionately believe that horses have a remarkable role to play in the help available to young people when more traditional methods have failed them. The equestrian environment provides a powerful way of inspiring young people to connect, improve well-being and become productive members of society.
With our 531 British Horse Society Approved Riding Centres in the UK, supported by more than 20,000 BHS Instructors, we intend to bring this formidable infrastructure to the forefront of helping young people connect into society through education and employment.
Changing Lives through Horses is a new educational programme which will be shaped over time to provide a wholly sustainable intervention which will change the lives of those it reaches.
Our Mission
The BHS will work in partnership to deliver a programme which meets the needs of disengaged young people, to change their lives through the development of key life skills, and engage them back into society. The success of the programme will be measured through the evidence of change within key skill areas. We will be led by the following core principles:
To change lives through horses, dogs or dance
To be sustainable
To build effective partnerships to create a world class education initiative
