Bean came into the home as a stray. He can be quite nervous when meeting new people but once he has got to know you he is a friendly boy. We are looking for a quiet adult only home for Bean where he can take his time to get to know his new surroundings. He will benefit from continued training and socialisation to help him build his confidence. The new adopter would have to commit to a multiple meet and greets before adoption so Bean can get to know them.

He has interacted well with other dogs whilst in our care although he can be very vocal. We feel it would be best for him to be rehomed as the only dog in the home so he can continue his socialisation with other dogs at his own pace.

Wellie is a sweet boy, while he has been with us he has shown how friendly he is by interacting well with other dogs and just wanting to play with them all. For this reason he could potentially live with another dog but perspective owners may want to consider his size.

He is sometimes cheeky and will get very over excited and tries to push boundaries, so will need some ongoing training and someone that is happy to be patient while he learns boundaries. He can be quite boisterous and mouthy so would definately benefit from ongoing training and socialisation.

Due to him coming to us as a stray and not having any history on him we feel he would be best suited to a home with an experienced adult only home that is whiling to work with Wellie while he grows out of his big puppy behaviour.

While he has been with us he has shown a lot of interest in our ducks and cat so recommend a house with no small furies.

“He's doing amazingly well and he's such a good boy. He's so funny and loving. We've re-named him Bodhi which he responded to within a couple of days.
He made himself at home straight away (he sleeps on our bed) and he's made lots of new friends.

We've been out exploring on the canal behind our house and the duck pond and over the Moors. And he's a great pub dog, especially in our local where he's taken on the role of meet and greet 🤣

We've been going to a secure dog field so we can let him off safely to do some recall work with him and he's starting with a dog trainer tomorrow for lead work as he wants to run over to everyone and everything he sees 🤣

We're off to the Lake District soon for our first holiday which we're really looking forward to.
It's sad that he spent all those months with you with no interest but we're glad that he waited for us to come along. He's a proper part of the family” 🐶😍

This gorgeous girl is Bonny. Bonny was very timid and shy when she first came into us but once she has gained your trust you really do see her fun loving and friendly side. Her favourite time of day is running around our compound playing with her toys. She sits nicely and gives a paw for treats. She will need continued training and socialisation. We are looking for an experienced dog owner for Bonny. She will need a private secure garden as she can be a bit of an escape artist. Bonny is currently sharing her kennel with another dog so following a successful meet and greet could be rehomed with another dog of similar size and energy levels.

Bonny cannot be rehomed with cats.

As Bonny came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on her so would prefer any children/visiting children to be 16+ years.

This timid girl is Clover. We are looking for an experienced owner for her that has worked with/socialised timid large breed dogs previously. Once Clover has bonded with you she shows off her loving side, it just takes some time for her to trust new people. Once she has got to know you she doesn’t leave your side. Clover is a very boisterous and bouncy girl who does forget just how big she is when she is jumping up at you to say hello. She would definitely benefit from puppy training classes. Her new adopter must give her all the support she will need whilst she gets used to new people and places and will have to commit to regular meet and greets before the adoption could take place. Clover will need a private secure garden.

Clover has interacted well with other dogs whilst in our care but we do feel she would be best rehomed as the only dog so she can get 100% of the training and socialisation she will need.

As Clover came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on her so would prefer any children/visiting children to be 14+ years.

Update on Piper.
She’s now called Willow, she’s travels so well in the car and she’s booked in for her first groom this Wednesday 🙂

She’s settled really really well, she enjoyed her crate so we upgraded it so that she had a nice big one that’s part of the furniture over night.

Willow loves her morning lie ins with us! We’ve managed to get her away from cleaning up after herself and it’s rare she does it now that we have a routine. At first she liked jumping to the counters in the kitchen and stealing food, but again, she knows she’ll never go hungry and she has a home that love her very much!

We take her to exercise fields at least once per week so she can have her zoomies and really burn her energy off, then every day she enjoys our local fields and trots through the woods! She’s also been on her first holiday to the Lakes with us!

Attached are some photos we’ve took since we got her, which show how much she’s come on and how happy she is ❤️

Thanks for everything, she’s certainly one of the family ❤️

Perkins was brought into the home as a stray. He was very nervous and unsure, but with time and lots of TLC from the staff he has gained his confidence and shown himself to be a friendly and affectionate boy. He loves going for long walks exploring and walks nicely on the lead. We are looking for a quieter home for Perkins where he can take his time to gain his confidence. The new adopter would have to commit to multiple meet and greets before adoption takes place to allow Perkins to get to know them.

Perkins has interacted ok with other dogs whilst in our care but we feel he would be best suited to be the only dog in the home.

We are unsure how Perkins would react around cats.

As Perkins came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years.
