🌡️🐾 HEATWAVE WARNING 🐾🌡️

This week temperatures are set to soar. Please don’t walk your dogs during a heatwave.

Hot pavements can burn paws in seconds, and even a short walk can put dogs at serious risk of heatstroke.

✅ Keep dogs cool, safe and indoors during the hottest parts of the day
✅ Provide plenty of fresh water and shady places to rest
✅ Use enrichment activities to keep them mentally stimulated:
• Lick mats
• Puzzle feeders
• Snuffle mats
• Training sessions
• Scent games
• Frozen treats

If your dog needs a walk, go very early in the morning when temperatures are lower and surfaces are cool.

Remember: if the pavement is too hot for the back of your hand, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.

Their safety comes first 🧡
