⭐️ National Volunteering Week ⭐️
As this week draws to a close we want to thank every single volunteer across both homes, events and even the cafe for their hard work and dedication.
However we do want to do one final post to honour a long serving volunteer at our Manchester home.
For an incredible 20 years, Christine has been giving her time, care, and heart to volunteering.
She spends most of her week with us, often staying all day, always ready to lend a helping hand and make a difference.
When asked if she has a favourite, Christine simply says she loves them all for who they are. Every individual holds a special place in her heart.
The part she loves most? Watching the nervous, unsure ones slowly gain confidence, blossom, and truly come out of their shells. Seeing that transformation is what makes it all worthwhile.
Christine’s unwavering dedication, kindness, and commitment shine through in everything she does. Her impact over the last two decades has touched countless lives, and we are so grateful for the care, patience, and love she brings every single day.
